Executive Summary
The aims of Blossoms day care that will be achieve in first four years of operations are as
follows-
To develop a service based organization whose main objective will be to provide quality services
better than the expectations of the clients.
To provide services of the organization to at least 50 families in the first seven months of
operations.
Another main aim of Blossoms day care is to increase its potential customers by 30% every year.
To attract and maintain existing and potential customers so that, business will become profitable
and sustainable.
Finance will be required for developing infrastructure, employing the staff for taking care of
children, purchasing equipments, for undertaking promotional activities.

INTRODUCTION
A venture refers to starting a new business with a new idea. A venture is started either by
one individual or by a group of peoples. It is started with an objective of earning profits. A
venture is started after determining the demand of certain product or service in the market.
Day care is a skill of taking care of children by babysitter, by care center etc. The Report will
include business proposal for a new venture that is 'Blossoms day care'. The child care centre
will provide various services of taking care of kids.
TASK 1
Focus of new venture, product and services
Blossoms day care will be soon located in Digbeth high street near Birmingham town.
The new venture will focus on providing service of taking care of kids between six months to
four years’ age group. Blossom day care will remain open from 7 a.m. Till 6 p.m. every day. The
services will be provided in a house which is recently converted into child care centre. Blossom
day care will be located in an area where many nuclear and joint families are living.
New venture will conduct various activities for the targeted age group of kids such as activity
related with art, promoting learning in kids, developing the skills of socialization in kids etc.
Blossoms day care will employ 10-15 trained and skilled staff so that, they will take care of
children effectively. Special training sessions will be organized for the staff on weekly basis
(Birley, 2017). Services to age group 6 months to 4 years will be given by the company.
Market research
To find out the market demand of product and services they need to do a market research
which will help them to access the viability of the new venture. There are two methods for the
collection of data in the marketplace which are explained below:
Secondary Data: The data collected by someone else earlier or past data. For e.g. government
publications, websites, internal records, journal etc. It consumes less time and economical but the
data collected may not provide specific needs. It will give data collection in terms of market size,
growth rates and competitor information. Secondary data benefits will be employment or
revenue among firms (Burns, 2016 ). They have research and reviewed the journal articles and
publications of the famous toy companies. This has supported them in collecting the relevant
