INTRODUCTION
Effective teams are known as the foundation of a successful organisation. If there are
ineffective teamwork in organisations, there is struggle for attaining organisational goals.
Business communication is a way in which stakeholders contact with each other by using
different modes of communication. Business communication helps a business to grow and also
helps in formulation of effective business strategy. The level and practice of business
communication determines the performance of a business. Business communication is a
professional tool which helps in passing of a crucial information in the organisation. In this
report different models of communication are explained. This report also covers examples of
poor communication at a workplace as well as how communication can be improved by using
different literature theory. For better understanding of business communication example of Mark
and Spencer is taken into consideration in this report. Mark and Spencer is a multinational
retailer company of UK which was founded in 1884 and is headquartered in London. The giant
company deals in food, clothes and home products.

Effective team is considered as the foundation of successful company. In an organisation,
every company tends to work at the effective lever in order to develop skilled team that leads to
bring talent within an organisation and also tends to contribute towards the effective success of
group (Adiloğlu, Fragiacomo, and Petricone, 2020). In regard of this, there are various
components of effective team which are discussed as underneath:
Communication: Effective communication is the essential part of an effective teamwork
that leads to include consistent update for the same details and information. In relation
with this, for being a good communicator tends to being a good listener that helps in
developing trust among people (Acton, Braun, and Foti, 2019) . In this context, offering motivation tends to depict the long way in order to get best from
their team members and also undertake effective collaboration in order to bring new idea
which is important to harmonious the environment of team.
