Mental Wealth and Development of Key Skills in Project Management_2
Introduction
Mental wealth refers to illustration of how successful individual is at management of the
content that is present in their mind. It deals with acknowledging the fluctuations which takes
place like up and down along with the times when individual needs some extra skill at the time
when their mental wealth is low (Dalcher, 2019). This is important that people look after their
mental health as it will lead to creation of mental wealth. It will make them rich in context of
mental health and they can spend more time in taking care of themselves and others surrounding
them. This report will provide an insight into reflection of certain skills that have been developed
while working in peculiar project and in journal.
Digital Proficiency (DP)
The measure of how efficaciously organisations as well as individuals can be engaged
within digital technology for benefits of both external and internal stakeholders is referred to as
digital proficiency (Daniel and Pasquire, 2019). This comprises of ways n which individual can
innovate, find solution for problems, improvised productivity and effectiveness in decision
making. This aspect assisted me within working in an adequate manner. By the usage of this skill
or capability I was able to think on different aspects related with this project and gather the
information by making use of different skills. It assisted me within having precise and detailed
information along with this certain queries that occurred were easily solved.
Emotional Intelligence Development (EID)
The capability of an individual for management as well as controlling their emotions as
well as possess abilities for handling various emotions is defined as emotional intelligence.
While working in a team, this is critical skill for a team leader. The five major elements
associated with this are self-regulation, social skills, empathy, motivation and self-awareness
(Galli, 2019). This aspect was developed while working on a project as various situations came
where it became difficult for me to handle things. The first thing which came to mind was to
leave working on the project but this is not feasible as for how long and how many time this can
be done. So, I thought to stick on the project no matter what the condition may be as everything
has solution for dealing with them.

Social Intelligence Development (SID)
The capacity to know oneself as well as others is defined as social intelligence. It is
developed from experience that is being attained by working within the team as well as from
success or failure within the social settings (Gao and Chan, 2019). While working on project we
are involved with different people, they are not only team members but also the people from
whom information is being gathered. I have good communication skills but lacks whether person
is interested in communicating or not and this was experienced while gathering of information
with reference to the project. Along with this, each person of different opinions within the team
so avoid the situations of conflict a mutual understanding has to be developed that will assist
within formulation of important decisions for the same.
Physical Intelligence Development (PID)
The ability for detection along with actively management of balance among key chemical
within body by which individual can attain more, stress levels, live and work happily is referred
to as physical intelligence. This is a critical aspect as there are unprecedented alterations which
do not evolve like pace of change which leads individuals to stressed, threatened and
overwhelmed (Müller, Drouin and Sankaran, 2019). The conditions cannot be ascertained when
working on any project and different team members. If things go well then there will be happy
working environment but if not then stress will be created. This will have negative impact on
each individual as each will be frustrated and this will be seen at the end results which will be
attained. It is crucial to have physical development so that constructive environment prevails.
Cultural Intelligence Development (CID)
The skill that is related with working efficaciously within the culturally diverse
conditions is known as cultural intelligence. This is beyond the existent knowledge associated
with cultural sensitivity along with awareness of highlighting distinct capabilities and skill set
that are required for realising objectives within unlike conditions. It is associated with emotional
intelligence which picks up on wants, needs and emotions of others (Steen and Mellor-Clark,
2019). I have developed this skill while working with people who belongs to different culture
and understood that each have their own priorities as well as way of working. This skill is
mandatory to develop as it can increase the level of disputes, misunderstanding and a pessimistic
environment will be created that will hamper the mindset of each within the team.
