INTRODUCTION
In the current time the market of electric market is increasing within automotive industry
which is using advanced technology and aspects. There are various ethical issues aligned with
electric vehicle and this way range of problems is faced by the industry (Akakpo and et. al.,
2019). The current report is associated with examination of the position of electric vehicle within
UK. So the report includes two articles in which detailed analysis is rendered along with used
research methodology.
SECTION A:
Introduction of topic
UK is committed to manage zero emission of carbon by the year 2050 and in this
transport is defined as the largest sector which is emitting to the high in UK economy. Electric
vehicle is one of the greatest method to reduce emission and the government is planning to
manage this sustainability for the longer duration of time so that target of zero can be attained.
The government of UK is accelerating the transition to zero emission car and for this the ministry
has announced that sale of new petrol and diesel cars should be phased out by the year 2030 so
that new cars and vans would be zero emission by the year 2030. Electric vehicles are partially or
wholly driven by electricity stored on the board the vehicle in batteries which are produced from
hydrogen. The market of EV is yet immature and associated with growing stage as most of the
cars in UK are fuelled by petrol or diesel. The new mandate of electric car is made by the
government and they are setting annual targets for the same so that proper targets can be
attained. One of the main reasons why people are not proffering EV is related with fear as people
have fear for functioning of the cars so they are not able to make such decisions (Ayetor,
Quansah and Adjei, 2020). The government's forthcoming electric vehicle infrastructure strategy
is intended to create vision for such businesses so that they can develop their business in EV
sector. The transition to electric vehicle will lead into developing of demand for electricity
within UK and this is developing to manage grid technologies within vehicles. With the help of
EV local air quality can be reduced as the point of minimising emission. When people of UK
will shift to EV then this will lead into increasing demand of batteries and this will open up
various opportunities for businesses to manage their challenges and to upgrade their business as
well. As of the survey conducted in the year of 2019 transport sector was the one which is
