INTRODUCTION
The Hospitality sector is considered as backbone of the economy which includes
activities like tourism and travelling (D’Annunzio-Green, 2018). It is major role of a hospitality
sector business to focus on key operations with strategic choices and decisions in order to control
them in a precise manner. Leadership and management are two important pillars of hospitality
sector which helps in increasing strength of a business and its development. In this report
example of The Idle Rocks hotel is taken into consideration which is part of the community of
Saint Mawes since 1913. It is one of the most luxury coastal hotel which is functioning starting
of the 1930s. The hotel was purchased by David and Karen Richards. The Idle Rocks was
closed on 31st October 2012 for complete refurbishment and reopened on 1st July. This report
concludes the appropriate leadership styles for the chosen hospitality organisation. This project
covers the way organisational responsibility and leadership to corporate leadership systems along
with evaluation of corporate social responsibility.

Leadership is considered as key approach related to management of subordinate
employees with focus on their working. It is main role of a leader to facilitate employees of the
organisation by adopting suitable tools and techniques. The leader is also considered as role
model for whole team members of an organisation (Eissner, and Gannon, 2018). At the Idle
Rock Hotel, leadership plays an important role in increasing productivity of employees and
managing day to day tasks. In the recent times, many international and national companies in the
hospitality sector focus on increasing leadership based operations to gain desired success at the
marketplace. In order to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of employees of hospitality
sector, it is essential for a leader to adopt appropriate leadership style.
Leadership traits- The leadership traits are considered as major norms and policies which are
developed by a leader of a business. It is essential for a leader to follow certain traits in order to
manage employees in a systematic manner. Hotel manager of Idle Rock also focus on leadership
traits and qualities to perform best in the field. In the development of an individual, it is main
role of the following leadership traits which are mentioned below:

formulate and develop various plans and schedule. It is compulsory role of a leader to be
