All the industries have innovations as well as trends. The travel and tourism industry is no
exemption. In the speedily evolving landscape, the new trends are seeming as well as taking hold
all time. Altering demographics, advancements in techniques, fluctuating social mores; these
effects along with others all help give increase to the significant new trends in tourism. The
advance technology, new destinations, as well as new sources of transport have caused main shift
in travel and tourism industry. Initial implementations of the new trends are dynamic. In the
following parts, travel and tourism business in Sydney is discussed and critically examined. This
report also states the need of travel and tourism business to recognise trends, and influences of
emerging trends as well as issues on travel and tourism industry in Sydney.
Travel and tourism in Sydney
Tourism in Sydney is the significant component of the economy of Australia. The huge majority
of travellers to NSW are travelling to Sydney. Approximately ten million local visitors as well as
around four million international tourists came to Sydney in 2018 (NSW Government, 2018).
The most popular attraction of this city include the Opera House, as well as Harbour Bridge. The
Opera House is identical to the Sydney as city. The individuality of a designing of Opera House
has considered the building stated as the UNESCO World Heritage Site. About eight million
persons come on this site each year. The structure is home to the studio, theatre, conference halls,
