INTRODUCTION Emotional intelligence is the core element which helps in understanding about the people in the workplace. This is the term which in turns, assist in promoting productivity in the workplace so that the teams can easily bring out the best of everyone. Emotional intelligence refers to the capacity level of the individual in understanding their own and others emotion. Culturalintelligence is the one which relates capabilities to work across the diverse culture effectively. And the concept of diversity refers to the state of being different. All these factors have their own significant importance in the business organisation as these enable the business in understanding the emotions, cultures of the employees working within the association. In this assignment the chosen association is Red Rooster which is an Australian based company deals in the business of fast food restaurant chains. The company was founded 47 years ago in the year of 1972(Van Dyne, Ang and Tan, 2016). This reports also covers the study about the culture that the company Red Rooster is following and the diversity of the culture presence within the business. Along with it, It also focuses on the impact of the cultural diversity and how it can be managed in the business is also studied. MAIN BODY Red Rooster is the operating their business in the largest food chain industry which deals in providing the customers with the best quality of the products. The company provides wide range of products such as whole roasts, half roasts, wraps, burgers, fish related products, salads, beverages and desserts. The business also specialises in roast chicken. The business runs across the Australia with there 360 stores expect Tasmania(Collins and Cooper, 2014).The main purpose behind choosing this company is that the company operates their operation with the helps of the employees belonging to the diverse culture and work well with their own emotions. Cultural diversity is the term which refers to as the differences among the individuals on the part of their languages, caste, age, sex, ethnic background and traditions. Cultural diversity in the business and workplace is when the companies are more tend to select the candidates of different backgrounds without considering the racisms, religion and their culture from they are coming. Diversity in the business of Red Rooster plays a crucial role as it drives the organisation with: Diversity drives innovations: Diversity in the business of Red Rooster has lead the business to work with the higher range of innovation as the business has focused on hiring the 1
candidates all across the world without considering their cultures, religion, sex due to which the employees from the diverse culture come up with the innovative and most creative ideas for the business which has lead the business towards the growth(Ng, 2013). Diversity reduces employees turnover: The business of Red Rooster has reduced their rate of employees turnover with the cultural diversity as the company tends to provide the respect and dignity to all the employees of the different culture due to which the employees feels familiar to the working environment and stayed retain in the business for the longer duration of time. Impact of culture diversity on the business of Red Rooster: Culture diversity has a significant impact on the business of the Red Rooster in both the aspects either in affirmative manner or in the negative manner. Measure negative impacts are non-adaptive conflicts, reduced level of productivity and issues in attaining a level of group harmony. And some of the positive impact of the cultural diversity on the business are that the business experiences the strong amount of knowledge, an in-house resource of cultural leader and informers, and a strong desire to enhance and expand the business to the foreign regions. For the most part, the effects of cultural diversity in the workplace depend upon how well they are being managed by the organizational leaders(Emmerling, Boyatzis and Emmerling, 2012). To increase the positive impact and to reduce the negative impact the formulation of proper strategic planning should be done in the business. Recommendations to overcome the issues of cultural differences : It is important for the business of the Red rooster to overcome these negative impact of the cultural diversity in the business as the association working with the concept of cultural diversity can easily lead to the stage of growth and higher amount of productivity. Some measure which the business must consider to overcome these issues have been mentioned beneath: The business must focus on the establishment of the proper communication among the member so that the conflicts which arises in the business can be reduced. They must focus on the training and development of the employees to learn the key languages so that the business operation can be carried out successfully by considering the diverse cultures(Malek and Budhwar, 2013). The association must give their emphasis on the learning of their client culture so that the business can provide their customer with the best quality of the items which is of their 2

These recommendation have been made on the basis of considering all those negative impact of the cultural diversity in the workplace so that these pessimistic impact can be reduced to the extreme level so that the business can enjoy the harmony and peaceful nature in the environment. 3
CONCLUSION From the above mentioned report it can be concluded that cultural diversity , emotional intelligence plays a vital role in the success and growth of the organisation as these factors drives the business towards the innovation. Along with this, the impact of cultural diversity on the business the measures and recommendation to overcome these issues have also been studied in this mentioned report. 4
