get changed. At the same time, there are some other requirements too of personnels which is
depended on the number of service units. With the higher number of sales the requirement would
go up and the vice verse will happen if the sales it come down.

£225000
Total variable costs £13,25,000
Total cost of the event £29,25,000
These costs are deciphered with best assumption that the expedition is supposed to aim
around 7500 customers who are nobody else but students who are supposed to subscribe the idea.
They would be given these services through the event so on the basis of the assumption relevant
costs have been determined (Zhou and Dragan, 2018)
The marketing cost would also depend on the level of sales since with the higher level of
sales. There will be more need of putting hyper efforts in marketing. That's the reason behind
this categorization. At the same time, the fees paid to some specialists would also be variable
since with the number of their lectures it would get fluctuated.
BEP: Break even point refers to the level of production where an organization does not generate
loss or profit. It comes on its balance point where it may decide its way forward (Fonseka, et. al.
2019) If it generates any extra unit then may experience profit and with any reduced unit would
go with loss. The even is supposed to generate its services to its clients. The all students who will
subscribe the idea would be given specified services which are actually service units the event is
intended to give them. The BEP of the event would be as-
Variable cost per unit of services £176.66
Fixed cost £1600000
Selling price per unit of services £500
Document Page
Contribution= Selling price- Variable cost
Contribution £500- £176.66
Contribution £323.34
BEP= Total fixed cost/ Contribution
BEP £1600000/ £323.34
BEP 4948.3
So from the calculations above it can be summarized that if the event gets success in
selling out around 4948 units of services then would be generating no loss, no profit. Any extra
unit of service would lead to profit.

but it can be used to aware people regarding any topic. Along with this, there is proper planning
required for conducting event so that there is no hindrance. The present report has summarized
about educational event in which activities related to career development has been concluded.
