To achieve this objective it is essential that manager of the hotel should be sufficiently skilled to take charge of operations of hotel. A set of knowledge, competence and experience is required in a manager to complete the responsibilities assigned to him. While doing the work there are many issues encounter by a manager.

SOLUTIONS FOR PROBLEMS Solution to them are as follows: Irregular schedule. Solution- Unconventional working hours and schedules are very common in hotel industry. Learning time management skills to manage work in extra hours is very important.Proper training can be arranged for hotel staff to acquire those skills. Employees working in lodging industry can be called any time to work extra hours in emergencies. On the job training and Off the job training, both methods can be used to teach time management skills to employees.

I recommend that all persons involved in safety concern and security issues must attend formal training to enhance their skills. TIME MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES Running a hotel is stressful and busy task and to complete that task Effective time management strategies adopted as a manager of travelodge are as follows. Making a proper schedule- by making a list of important task to be completed in a day should be made in the morning. This helps in increasing productivity and reduces wastage of time. It helps in arranging work in a structured and plan way. Use of internet to communicate or giving necessary instrunction- calling meetings for providing guidelines to employees takes a lot of time. Hotel websites and emails can be used to communicate with hotel staff.
