INTRODUCTION
It is essential for an individual to develop employability skills for their professional
growth which will help them to achieve their dream job to make their professional life satisfied
(Suleman, 2018). Their are various skills like communication skill, time management skill,
research skill, problem solving skill and many others which are required by an individual to gain
appropriately. The following report covers reflection on developed skills, the knowledge which
is gained after completing the project, level of confidence improved and the action plan for those
skills which are determined as weak.
MAIN BODY
TASK 1
Which skills have you developed and/or enhanced as a result of the project?
Research skill have been developed by me after completing the assessment. Research
skill is that skill which consist of identifying and collecting information appropriately for
achieving the objective (Fajaryati and Akhyar, 2020). In context of the assessment, the business
issue of FSB is identified through research and the mitigation strategies is identified which best
suits to mitigate the issue appropriately. While collecting information about this school I have to
collect a lot of information whether it is primary information or secondary information. I
communicate with students and teachers of the FSB and collect data and then I also make sure
that I will only mention useful data in my report. Hence, I evaluate the data and eliminate those
data which did not seem much important for my report. Hence, through this assessment I get to
know about research skill well.
What do you know now that you didn’t know at the start of the process?
Before starting the assessment I only know that I can only use secondary data to resolve
the issue which is given to me but during the project completion I also get to know that I need
primary data to like face-to face interview and surveys to collect information. I was researching
about the requirement of the courses like ACCA and CIMA for the FBS university. Before the
assessment I thought that most of the students may know about these courses but during the
project completion after communicating with students and from surveys I get to know that 60%
of the students are not aware about the ACCA and CIMA courses. I also get to know that

Which skills have you developed and/or enhanced as a result of the project?
Research skill have been developed by me after completing the assessment. Research
skill is that skill which consist of identifying and collecting information appropriately for
achieving the objective (Fajaryati and Akhyar, 2020). In context of the assessment, the business
issue of FSB is identified through research and the mitigation strategies is identified which best
suits to mitigate the issue appropriately. While collecting information about this school I have to
collect a lot of information whether it is primary information or secondary information. I
communicate with students and teachers of the FSB and collect data and then I also make sure

(Kenayathulla, Ahmad and Idris, 2019). I have seen that I had developed a good level of
confidence in myself while conducting this project. Before this module I was shy and unable to
communicate openly with others but for completing the assessment I have to communicate with
teachers and students which help me to develop my confidence. I have also become an extrovert
and now I am enough capable to participate in decision making processes and solving any issue.
One of the most effective and helpful benefit of high confidence level is that it will help me to
motivate to participate in various activities well. This high confidence will further help me in my
professional life.
How could you use your learning in your future career?
I have developed research skill which can be used well in my future career because a
good research skill will help me to enhance my leadership quality so that I will analyse the issue
faced by companies and employees of my organisation and make corrective actions to mitigate
them. Hence, this learning outcome will help me to get high quality of job. On the other hand, I
have learned the way of self motivation which will help me in my professional career where I
can face many issues and situations which can demoralize me. Hence, self motivation habit will
help me to think positive in worst situation and did not impacts my performance. I have also
learned that effective communication skill will help me to solve various kinds of issues whether
it is related to my personal life or professional life. Hence, effective communication can help me
to influence my team members in future to perform the task appropriately (Ornellas, Falkner and
Stålbrandt, 2018).

Skill gap consist of the situation of difference between skills required for employment
and actual skills and capabilities of learning of an individual who seek for employment (Abbasi,
Ali and Bibi, 2018). I have analysed my capabilities and learnings where I get to know that I am

It is essential for an individual to develop a good level of confidence so that he/she can
communicate openly with others and this will also help them in their professional career
