INTRODUCTION
In every business organization, employees play a very crucial role in order to attain
desired success and results. Every business enterprise desires skilled and qualified employees so
as it can develop competitive advantage in the market. Business enterprise requires to recruit
such skilled personnel’s through which it can make effective production and profitability. Every
individual have their own skills, talent, ability and knowledge which make them distinctive from
other (Mikolajczyk and Schmid, 2005). The following project report has provided a depth
knowledge and understanding about employees skill, talent and role in the organization through
which form can attain desired success. In addition to this various motivational techniques which
improve employees performance has been also discussed in this report. Furthermore, a
systematic process for solving work based problem and strategies for time management has been
studied in this report. At the end part of the report defined team dynamic and methods for
developing solution to problem in the organization.
TASK 1
1.1 Develop a set of won responsibility and performance objective
Employability skill is very essential foe every employees through which they can attain
desired objective of organization. People should use various methods and criteria for improving
their personality and professionals. Employees play a very essential role in the organization
through which it can attain desired success within a time period. In the absence of skilled
employees firm can not survive its business functions and activities. The entire process of
business and activities of Hilton hotel is largely depends upon the employees performance. The
major objective of Hilton hotel is to earn maximum profitability and market share along with
deliver high quality customer services (Koziolek, 2010). For this purpose, all employees have
responsibility to give their best contribution and make business operation effective and
successful.
Being an HR manager in the Hilton hotel I have various roles and responsibility toward
organization. Hilton hotel have major objective is to deliver effective customer satisfaction and
earn maximum profit ability and market share in the UK. Cited venture aim is to render high
quality of services to customer and again strong brand image in the market. For this objective, as
a HR manager I have responsibility to manage the business activities and function in such
manner as I can effectively gain effective outcomes (Chun and et.al., 2013). Employees are very
essential part for business growth so as a HR manager I have responsibility to identify the issue
and requirement of personnel related to working and make them satisfy at workplace. I have
another responsibility to motivate and encourage employees for higher performance and
productivity. In this manner, I can provide monetary and non monetary rewards to them and

appreciate their performance in the organization. In the Hilton hotel, customer or guest are very
important part so I have also some responsibility toward them. I am liable to improve the quality
of customer service by effective monitoring of employees performance and provide effective
environment by maintain healthy relationship with them.
1.2Evaluation of own effectiveness against defined goal
In the Hilton hotel , as a HR manager I have various roles and responsibility so as I can
develop effective working environment and manage employees in an appropriate manner. Cited
venture main objective is to provide high quality of services to customer and earn maximum
profitability and market share. For this objective, I have responsibility to organize training
programs so as employees can learn the criteria of effective working. In this manner, my
analytical skill can assist me through which I can identify the requirement of improvement in the
employees. In order to motivate and encourage employees, my effective communication skill can
aid me through which I can share my idea and inspirational thought with personnel. Being a HR
manager of cited venture I have responsibility to maintain healthy relationship with employees.
In this manner, my communication skill will also assist me (McCoy and et.al., 2012). This will
assist in managing employees and attaining the desired objective at workplace. In addition to
this, for manage the high workload situation, my time management skill can also aid me through
which I can manage the large numbers of projects at a single time. In order to attain the objective
of Hilton hotel, I have to develop effective policies and working practices so as employees can
mange their work and retain In the organization for long time. In this manner, my decision
making power can assist me through which I can take business related decision in an appropriate
manner and attain objective within a time (Erlandsson, 2013). Furthermore, I have effective
presentation skill through which I can effectively conduct meeting and give presentation about
business plan, policies, strategies in front of human resource. However, I have lack of effective
technical skill which resist me in developing report by use of computer and any other equipment.
I have lack of knowledge about computer program. In addition to this, I have ineffective
leadership skill through which I am unable to motivate and inspire people at workplace for
higher productivity and performance Moreover I have lack of effective coordination skill which
resist in developing team of employees for attaining specific task.
1.3 Explanation about improvement
As per the above discussion about my personality it has been ascertained that I have
various roles and responsibility toward Hilton hotel. As cited firm main objective is to render the
high quality services to customers and earn maximum profitability and market share. For this
purpose, I have to more improve my personality and professionalism as HR manager. As it
discussed that I have effective communication, time management and presentation skill but still
in some area I have need to make improvement. In order to improve my technical skill, I should
attend training and development programs through which I can learn many new methods,
concepts and techniques to operate computer and other equipments (Carr, 2014). This will aid
me in developing report of customer services and policies for employees working in the
