INTRODUCTION
Employability skills as a crucial part of individual wherein effective skills like
communication, leadership, coordination helps to attaining goals and objectives of the firm. In this
report, range of methods and techniques of motivation are used by the manager for improving the
quality of employees as well as performance. Under this report, there are various aspects of
employability skills which will be studied in the context Hilton hotel. The present report covers,
responsibility of manager is to identify the work based problems which arises at the work place and
further they develop various alternative ways for solving the issues. Employee uses time
management strategies accordingly they set work and deadlines which helps to attaining the goals
of the firm. . In addition to this, individual plays different role in the team and they share the roles
and responsibility for achieving desire aims. There are various alternative ways for completing task
on time which is used by the team members.
TASK 1
1.1
As a service worker of the Hilton hotel, there are various responsibilities which are required
to be fulfilled at the work place (Jabbour and et.al., 2013). In this way, I am responsible for solving
the issues of the customers and clients as well as provide them with best services. It assists the
manager to easily operate the activities of the firm and maintain the relation with the users. In this
regard, I am required to improve communication skills which will help me to understand the
problems and assist in developing good relation between company and clients. For this, I will attend
seminars and conferences which will help me to increase the confidence level towards the services.
Being a service worker, I need to identify the requirements of the work place and effectively use
available resources which can aid to deliver the best amount of input to the manager. Moreover, it
will positively affects the presentation of the company because customers are satisfied his services
is given by me (Jones, 2013). As per this, organization increases the market share in hospitality
industry and maintains the overall productivity. Apart from this, my performance objective is to
increase sales turnover like 25% of the company and attain the satisfaction level of the consumer.
The objective can be done in 2 weeks In this context, I need to render relevant information among
the customers and employees which can help me to operate all activities at the work place and attain
desire goals.

In order to attain the objectives and goals, special training has been undertaken so that the
roles and responsibility can be accomplished effectively. In this way, manager renders the training
and development program to their individual which helps to enhancing the performance and
improve the knowledge as well skills. It assists workers to deliver the best amount of work and
attain the satisfaction level of the customers which helps to increasing the sales turn over the firm.
On the other hand, my communication skill is the major strength of me accordingly identify the
needs and wants of the consumer. It assists employees to easily understand the requirements of the
consumer and they accomplish their demand (Kelly, 2012). As per this, in order to own
effectiveness like communication skill which helps to achieving the performance objectives as well
as organization goals. Moreover, as a service worker of the Hilton hotel, I have good leadership
quality which helps to guide the team member in right direction. It aids members to manage the
work and takes the effective decision which is required for fulfilling the demand of the clients. It
positively impacts on image of the firm as they employees accomplish the requirements of the
customers which generates the satisfaction towards the services. Accordingly, company get the
chance for gaining the profit margin and maximizing the sales turnover. Henceforth, all the
effectiveness of me which helps to attaining the performance objectives as well satisfaction level of
the clients (Kerzner, 2013).

There are range methods and techniques for improving my skills which helps to handling the
any type of the situation at the work place. In this way, I require to improve the time management,
coordination as well as other skills which assist to fulfilling the requirements of the Hilton hotel.
The group meetings and open session with the manager which helps to generates the positive vibes
and increasing the confidence level. In this way, I will attend the group meetings and session
wherein manager understands the all aspects of the individual and gives the suggestion for
improving the key areas. It helps the service worker to easily present in front of the customers and
gives the best services to their consumer (Mitchell and et.al., 2014). Through the training program, I
will get the chance for improving my knowledge and skills which are required for accomplishing
the demand of the company and clients. It will further help me in increasing the knowledge and able
to deliver the best result of work. Accordingly, it helps manager easily manage the day to day work
and achieving the goals and objective of the firm. On the other hand, some incentives are also
motivated factor that can help me to right direction and take the effective decision is need to
completing the work.

There are various methods and techniques of the motivation which is used by the manager
for improving quality performance of employees and motivating towards the task and goals.. It
helps the workers to generate interest level towards the task and it also helps in improving quality of
performance which will increase the high quality of work. On the other hand, company uses the
rewards system for improving quality performance of the employees wherein manager provides
rewards such as promotional opportunity, incentives and bonus to their human resource as per the
performance (Moura and et.al.,2013). As per this, employees get the opportunity for improving the
standard quality performance because they are highly motivated towards the task. They are able to
handle any type of the project which is assigned by the manager. On the other hand, the Maslow’s
need hierarchy theory consider the basic needs of the individual which is fulfilled by the manager as
per the employees wants. It assists the workers to be highly motivated towards the task and perform
in an appropriate manner. Henceforth, all these techniques of the motivation which is used by the
manager and increasing the overall productivity of the firm and employees (O'Neil and O'Neil,
2014).
TASK 2
2.1
Manager of the Hilton hotel takes the responsibility for identify the work based problems among
the employees at the work place. In this way, the problems like working hours, work environment,
communication etc under which manager need to solve the all issues at the work place.
Communication is the major problem at the work place wherein manager takes the group meeting
with the all employees. In this context, they get the chance for interacting with each other and
discuss about the disputes wherein employees gives the suggestion for solving the issues (Patnaik
and Prasad, 2013). It helps manager to recognize the needs and wants of the employees and workers
highly motivated towards the task as they part of the decision making process of the firm. On the
other hand, working hours creates the various issues wherein employees works in over time.
Hoverer, company unable to pay the amount of the extra remuneration under which manager
responsible for resolving the working hours. In this context, manager takes the responsibility for
providing the flexible working hours which helps human resource to operate the activities of the
firm as per the convenience. Apart from this, executive conducts the session to deal the problems at
the work place under which employees and higher authority discuss about the issue. They gives the
suggestion for dealing the problems which develops the good relation between organization and
workers (Rosenberg, Heimler and Morote, 2012). Henceforth, all these are the ways for solving the

issues at the work place which helps to maintains the work environment as well as culture.
2.2
Communication as a process wherein individual interact with each other and different styles
can be used at the various level of the organization in solution. In this way, the higher authority of
Hilton hotel uses the communication mode like formal process to communicate with the middle
level of the management. Formal process is the best source for interacting with each other and
authority provide the relevant information to their middle level employees which helps to manage
the work accordingly (Shafie and Nayan, 2010). Moreover, the middle level manager follows the
informal process to communicate at the operational level of employee which include the open
session and oral communication. It assists manager to maintains the relation with the workers and
solve the issues of them which will complete the task and attain the goals and objectives. On the
other hand, junior employees follows proper structure under which they mail to the team leader
after workers communicate with the management. With the help of mail, employees effectively
communicate with the manager and manage the work and set the all activities at the work place.
Furthermore, human resource communicate with the team member by using the phone under which
they easily understand the all topics related to the work and completing the work on time (Snell,
Morris and Bohlander, 2015). Apart from this, if the professionals communicate to the general
public by using the media which helps to effectively render the relevant information among the
individual and develops the good relation. Henceforth, all these modes of the communication which
is used by the different level of the organization and solve the issues.
2.3
Time management is the crucial part of the individual accordingly they manage the whole
work on daily bases. In this way, effective time management includes the logical and discipline
strategy under which individual requires to manage the work as per the time and achieve the desire
goals. In order to identify the effective time management strategy which is used by the manager of
the Hilton hotel (Snell, Morris and Bohlander, 2015). Executive requires to set the whole work and
they identify the important task accordingly can be done by the whole activities of the organization.
It assists workers to handle the any situation at the work place and attaining the goals and
objectives. On the other hand, employees set the deadlines accordingly the manage the work as per
the time and meet the deadlines is provided by the clients. Workers able to complete the task on
time and gives the best services to the customers. It positively affects the performance of the
organization because employees meet the deadline through time management strategies which
generates the satisfaction towards services. Company gain the competitive advantage and increases

the overall productivity of the firm in hospitality industry. On the other hand, manager not able to
handle the whole work of the firm they they can be divided the task on the groups (Truijen and
et.al., 2013). It helps to accomplishing the assignment on time as well as systematic manner which
will increase the revenue margin.
TASK 3
3.1
Individual plays different role in the team and group members share the roles and
responsibility for achieving the goals and objective of the firm. Manager can follow the team role
of the Belbin theory is formulated by the Meredith Belbin that are given below:
Shaper- The executive of the Hilton hotel provide the role to the employees who responsible for
handling the any challenges is occurred in team and they gives the for accomplishing the task on
time.
Implementer- The another role of the employees like implementer wherein they efficient towards
the work (Vance, Siponen and Pahnila, 2012). In this way, worker gives the various ideas which is
converted into the action. Implementer ready for organizing the activities related the work and
maintain environment of the team.
Monitor- Manager offer this role to the individual who must be serious minded and aware for the
activities of the employees. In this context, people plays as a monitor-evaluator wherein they
focuses on the team meters quality of the workers and gives the alternative ways for attaining goals
of the team.
Plant- Executive render this role who are more creativity towards the work in which they solve the
issues of the employees and render the positive environment (Forming, Storming, Norming and
Performing ,2015). It helps workers to focuses on their work and gives the best result of the input.
3.2
The team dynamics emphasises the goals and objectives of the team at the work place
wherein team members influences behaviours and performance. Manager uses the Tuckman's model
of the team dynamics which includes the four stages that are explained below:
Forming- In this step, the group member positive towards the work and they easily understand the
all task is assign by the manager (Wilton, 2011). In this way, individual share the roles and
responsibilities for completing the work on time and deliver the services on time.
Storming- This is the second step in which there are various conflicts and issues between all the
team members. In this context, manager take the responsibility for taking the right decision and
solve the conflicts of the employees. It helps workers to focuses on their work and gives the best

result to the organization.
Norming- Under this third step employees solve the issues and conflicts that they can easily attain
the objective of the firm as well as group. In this context, the main role of the manager in this step
in which they provide the rules and regulation which helps to employees behave in well manner.
Performing- Now at the last step of this model wherein employees develops the alternative ways
for taking the right decision in appropriate manner (Woznitza and et.al.,2014). In this way, manager
need to monitor and control the employees performance at the work place.
3.3
There are various alternative ways for completing the task on time and achieving the goals at
the work place in the Hilton hotel. In this way, team member requires to share the roles and
responsibility for accomplishing the work on time. If the workers can be done the task on time
which helps manager to meet the demand which is assign by the clients. It positively affects the
performance of the organization as they reach the demand of the customers which generates
satisfaction towards the services. Moreover, all the group members are needed to effectively
communicate with other members and workers which helps to develops mutual under standing
between them (Ye and et.al.,2012). They easily accomplishing the activities is assign by the
manager and reach the requirements of them. With the help of effective communication, employees
solve the issues and maintain the relation which will attain the goals of the team. As per this, groups
gives the best result of the work which helps manager to manage the day to day work and increasing
the productivity of the firm in hospitality industry. In this context, the success of the organization
depends upon team member performance under which skilled employees gives the best services to
their clients. Henceforth, all the alternative ways for completing the task on time and achieving the
desire goals.
TASK 4
4.1
There are different tools and methods for solving the real base problems and issues at the
work place in the Hilton hotel. In this way, the major problems like unequally under which
management not able to treat the employees are equally. It creates various issues between company
and workers in which they not able to focuses on their work and do not performing the appropriate
manner (Quendler and Lamb, 2016). In this situation, manager takes the responsibility for solving
the equality issues under which they requires to follows the equality legislation. It helps
management to treat the employees are equally and do not discriminate on the bases of the
disability, gender, age etc. As per this, employees increases the motivation level towards the task

and they are able to handling the any type of the project which is assign by the manager. It
positively affects the environment of the firm and manager resolve the all issues of the employees
which helps to increasing the overall productivity of the firm.
4.2
In order to develop the appropriate strategy to resolving the problems at the work place in
the Hilton hotel. In this way, the major problem like unequallity under which manager uses the
equality legislation which helps to maintains the environment of the company as well as relation
with the human resource. With the help of the equality, employees influences for fulfilling the
demand of the clients and easily attain the goals and objective of the firm because they are highly
motivated (Ju, Moore and Zhang, 2014). In this context, highly motivated employees gives the best
result of the input and able to handling the any task which is assign by manager as well as minimize
the risk at the work place. Moreover, manager easily manage the day to day work and accomplish
the demand of the clients which helps to increasing the productivity of the firm.
4.3
In order to evaluate the potential impacts of implementing the strategy under which
manager easily implement at the work place. In this way, executive able to attaining the satisfaction
level of the employees wherein they provides the positive environment to the workers. It assist
workers to focuses on their work and attaining the satisfaction level of the clients through
accomplishing the demand of them. It positively affects the performance of the company which
helps to increasing the productivity of the firm (Moura and et.al.,2013). The equality strategy is
implemented by the manager at the work place which helps to increasing the motivation level of the
employees towards the task and able to deliver the good amount of task.
CONCLUSION
From the above report, it can be concluded that, individual have various skills which helps
to attaining the performance objective as well goals of the company. In this way, there are range
methods and techniques of the motivation which helps to motivating the employees towards the task
and improves the quality performance in the organization. Different issues and problems arises at
the work place and manager take the responsibility for solving the issues with the help of alternative
ways. Through the effective time management approach, employees manage the work and attain the
goals of the company. Individual plays different role in team which helps to share the achieve goals.
