The stated process helps the organization to get talentedand skilled employees in the organization. The cited process is being conducted by the HRmanager of the company. This process helps the organization to effectively trained and developthe current skills of the new candidate. The present report is based on the case study of Hilton.The organization is one of the leading hotel in UK where the organization renders qualityservices to the customers (Beckett and et.al., 2013). The firm is not only present in UK but alsorenders its services in different parts of the world. The presents document is prepared with amotive to define the role and purpose of human resources planning. Besides this, the stateddocument is consist of human resources plan which will assist the organization to evaluate thedemand and supply of its resources. In addition to this, the current report is about to focus on theemployee relations of the hotel industry. At last, it is going to enlighten different types oftraining and also consist a difference between training and development. This will assist ther5eader to gain good level of understanding towards the selected topic. TASK 11.1 Role and purpose of HR managerHuman resource management plays a significant role in the success of any serviceindustry. Many individuals who are involved in the hotel organization include strategic, tacticaland operational level employees. They perform their assigned work towards attaining the firm'sobjectives and goals. Hilton hotel provides a wide range of services. It effectively maintains astrong and committed team of talented employees. There are various roles of HR manager inHilton hotel that are discussed as below-Staffing-HR manager of Hilton hotel is the foremost role in the process of staffing asthey recruit and hire the potential personnel that provide effectiveness of the organisation. Theyacquire highly talented, skilled and knowledgeable candidates and place them at right jobaccording to their qualification and experience to attain the set goals (Cattani,2011). They adoptan efficient recruitment procedure for selecting suitable candidates as per the firm's objectiveswhich helps them in rendering higher productivity, increasing morale as well as in improving abetter brand image.

Motivation- HR manager is responsible to motivate its new and existing employee sothat they can put more efforts towards attaining the goals and objectives of a firm. The Hiltonhotel's HR manager motivates its staff members by structuring, managing and administering aneffective compensation plan in which they provide decent salaries and incentives according totheir performance analysis. Along with this, it create remuneration packages, pension plans andreward schemes for retaining and motivating the individuals.Training and development- HR manager conducts various training sessions for thepurpose of providing new skills and knowledge along with updating the. They put more effortstoward firm's objectives by proper utilisation of resources, support tools and manage the timewhich directly increase the productivity. employees with new technology by analysing theirspecific needs. In the hotel, manager conducts training on monthly basis in which they train theemployees regarding customer service and provide them new technology that leads to improvethe performance of employees (Lawler and Bilson,2013). Training for the existing or new staffworkers is required necessary as the company have to develop the skills and knowledge so, theproductivity as well as profitability will be enhanced. These is possible through automatedtraining programs in which workers go through the process of customer service that is availableonline. In this method, they learn the way to tackle customer complaints by listening andacknowledging the issue along with implementing right solution to solve the same.Theeffectiveness and benefits of training session to the Hilton hotel is that the morale of employeeswill be increase, earn-higher profits and also enhance its performance level. Along with that, thetrained skilled workers learn new skills that impact on the companies operations in the current aswell as future.
