INTRODUCTION
Capabilities of individual of maintaining its occupation is called employability skills.
Person has to develop some additional skills and knowledge so that individual can be successful
in its job and can sustain in the firm for longer period. It includes competencies, soft hard skills,
transferable, interpersonal, problem solving, generic skills of the employees so hat person can
fulfil its responsibilities effectively and can perform well in the workplace. Present report is
based on the leading fashion brand Timbacourt, it provides high quality fashionable cloths to
men and women. Company is planning to expand its business by opening more flagship stores in
London (Tran, 2015). For that firm is looking for the skilled human resource manager who can
recruit qualified and capable persons in the workplace those who can operate business
significantly. Current assignment will discuss the responsibilities and performance of HR
manager in Timbacourt. Report will discuss the role of people in a team and it will analyse the
team dynamics. To resolve problems in the workplace, report will develop appropriate strategy
which can assist in resolving issues.
TASK 1
1.1
Timbacourt is the clothing retailer, cited firm is working well in west London. It offers
products via online medium as well. Now enterprise wants to develop flagship stores in entire
London. Being a HR manager in the organization I have to perform many duties in the
workplace (Danial and Mohamed, 2014). My performance objective in the firm is to hire such
efficient persons in the company those who have skills and necessary qualification so that they
can contribute well in the success of the entity. My role is to conduct recruitment session in the
floor, for that I will have to make connection with internal and external agencies. My duty is to
gather all resources to make selection process more effective. I have to organize written test for
candidates so that I can actually examine their skills and knowledge. The persons those who get
passed now my responsibility is to conduct interview for them. I will have to prepare necessary
questions for the candidates so that I can judge their analytical and communication skills. My
responsibility is to select most suitable person in the Timbacourt (Gallagher, 2013).
My performance objective is to make people more comfortable in the floor so that they
can share their feeling with each other effectively. This will be beneficial for the company, as

satisfied persons will be able to put their best efforts. For that my responsibility is to conduct
meeting and introduce the newcomer with all team members and other staff. So that individual
can make contact with other workers as well. My performance objective is to accomplish the
objective of Timbacourt. So for that I will have to conduct training sessions for new people, so
that they can know about the working practices of the company. My performance objective is
that all employees finish their work on time, so for that it is my responsibility to improve their
time management skills (Ferns, Smith and Russell, 2014). Apart from this my goal is to enhance
their technical knowledge so for that my responsibility is to provide the necessary guidance so
that they can improve their knowledge and can performance well in the organization.
1.2
My first performance objective is to recruit most suitable and capable candidate in the
Timbacourt. Being a HR manager in the cited firm I found my self very effective in this. I spent
my lot of time in advertising and publishing the articles about the vacant post. I make connect
with many external consultancy firms so that I can get skilled employees. I prepared job
description and specification documents for selecting good candidates (Chavan and Surve,
2014). I prepared many questions related to interview so that I could judge their analytical skills.
But somehow I felt that due to lack of knowledge about the latest software, I became unable to
deal with documentation (Buntat and et.al, 2013).
My next performance objective was in Timbacourt to make newcomers comfortable in
the workplace. I found myself effective in it. I introduced formal introductory meetings for them
so that they can know about other people and can make connection in the office. I was very
effective in it, as due to this people started coordinating with each other and they discuss their
issue with their seniors. It has reduced the misunderstanding between employees and they are
performing their work impressively (Dejaeghere, Wiger and Willemsen, 2016).
My another performance objective is to enhance time management skills of employees so
that they finish their work on time. I have conducted training sessions and seminars for them so
that they can know effectiveness of timing and can gain good knowledge for the same. I was
average performer in it because of heavy work load I was unable to organize many seminars so
result was quit average. Goal of Timbacourt is to increase sales, this is also my objective that I
contribute well in the success of the company (Jackson and Chapman, 2012). I found my self

ineffective because of lack of technical skills. I need to develop technical knowledge in me so
that I can deal with advanced software. I need to improve my monitoring skills so that I can
observe well to candidates and their performance. It will help me to improve their lacking areas
to great extent.
1.3
While performing my responsibilities, I observed that I have poor technical skills and
motivating skills. It was the main issue which I faced while doing my job as HR manager. As
Timbacourt is the leading brand and for expansion and opening more flag stores in the London, it
will have to motivate its staff embers well so that they put their best efforts to increase sales of
the company. Apart from this it is very necessary that I improve my technical knowledge as well
so that I can prepare documentation and records well (Miller, Biggart and Newton, 2013).
The improvements can be taken place by adopting several strategies. To be technical
sound I will have to attain more training programs related to this, apart from this I will have to
attain some seminars and experts conferences so that I can know about the operating ways of
these machineries. It will help me to understand about the technologies. I should give some time
in google surfing so that I can collect information about new technologies and can learn about
them. For improving motivational and observing skills, I will have to read previous case studies
of other organization in which people leave jobs due to demotivation. It will help to understand
the root cause of issues (Barker, 2014). I will have to conduct more meetings with employees so
that I can understand heir needs and desires, it will help me to provide monitory and non
monitory benefits according to their necessity. I should read various theorise of motivation so
that I can gain knowledge about basic needs of human being and can make people satisfy by
fulfilling their wants.
1.4
Motivation in the necessary things in the workplace, it can boost energy of workers and
can enhance their performance in the Timbacourt. To improve quality of performance of
employees being a human resource manger of Timbacourt, I will use motivational techniques in
several ways: Implement reward system: I will observe the individual activity and attitude towards the
company According to their efforts I will give them rewards. Before this I will analyse
their needs and according to those I will give them monitory and non monitory rewards

(Hooker and Whistance, 2016). This will be beneficial and people will feel satisfy with
the working environment of Timbacourt. By this way employees will put their best
efforts to perform better, this will enhance their quality of work. Feedback system: I will take time to time feedback from the employees. It will enhance
their confidence and they will feel satisfy in the workplace. By taking feedback from staff
members, I will make them comfortable in Timbacourt and they will share heir feelings
and innovative ides with me. It will help me to make strategies for their improvement in
quality (Oliver and Wright, 2016).
 Self improvement: I will provide them training so that they can enhance their knowledge
and skills and can work better in the Timbacourt. In training programs I will coordinate
well with them so that they feel comfortable and ask their quarries. It will help me in
resolving their issue so they will be able to perform well and will deliver quality services
in the Timbacourt (Hanapi, Nordin and Khamis, 2015).
TASK 2
2.1
Timbacourt is the clothing retailer, it has vast network and good online presence.
Currently company is facing the issue of poor communication skills of juniors that creates
misunderstanding in performing tasks. Production is cloths get hampered due to poor
coordination among employees. These are the main work based issue in Timbacourt. By
implementing several solutions, company can resolve its problems soon:
Conduct training programs: HR manager of Timbacourt needs to conduct training sessions in
the workplace, so that people can know about the actual working process of company. It will
help them to minimize their confusion and thus, they will be able to perform well in the
organization. It will reduce misunderstanding related to working process and practices, thus, all
will perform in systematic way (Buntat and et.al, 2013).
Arrangement of formal and informal meetings: To resolve the problem of communication,
HR manager of Timbacourt needs to arrange formal and informal meetings. Formal meeting will
help to make people understand about their responsibilities so no confusion will take place.
Informal meeting will support in making friendly environment so that employees will be able to

coordinate well with each other. It will reduce the communication problem and will improve
production quality as well (Jackson, 2014).
Implementation of advanced technologies: As in Timbacourt communication and production
are two main problems. If HR manager coordinate or circulate information about Updation and
others via mail or social sites then people will be updated and no confusion will take place. If
company use advanced technologies for production then it will be beneficial in producing quality
cloths. So firm will be able to satisfy consumers by providing quality material products
(Cavanagh and et.al, 2015).
2.2
The main work based problems in Timbacourt are communication and production. To
communicate with different level it is very necessary to select appropriate style of interaction. In
Timbacourt there are mainly two level:
 Staff level
 Managerial level
To communicate about the problem and solution, HR manager of the organization will
choose Assertive communication style. Manager will coordinate with them via formal letter and
mails etc. People will feel connected via this medium, apart from this top authorities will be able
to make effective control over the staff members (Barnes, Green and Hoyos, 2015). Mail and
social sites are effective medium by this way managers will be able to make people understand
about the issue. It will create respect full environment in the workplace and people will
understand each other and will interact with each other effectively.
To communicate with managerial level or higher authorities, HR manager will opt the
medium of conducting formal meetings. In this all senior members of the company, board of
director get involved they discus upon the issue and give their positive concern on particular
solution. This supports in making effective strategies so that problem get eliminated forever. It is
the great communication style and will be beneficial in passing knowledge one to another (Rasul
and et.al,2013). This style will assist in resolving the problem for longer period and will improve
the interaction between employees. Thus, misunderstanding and confusion will be minimized
and it will increase quality of performance of the workers.

2.3
Timbacourt is working in fashion industry, it has to make sudden changes in its practices
to match with the current demands of consumers. For that it is very necessary to deliver services
on time. There are several strategies which can support to Timbacourt in completing tasks within
the time duration: Set priorities: It is a great strategy in which worker can make check list of “to do” or “not
do to”. This will help to identify the most important task then person will opt the essential
task first finish it then will move to second task. By this way employees will be able to
manage its time accordingly and will complete entire work within the duration (Mullins,
2004). Scheduling: It is another time management strategy in which HR manager can schedule
all task and can make them understand about scheduling. It will help to reduce work load
and employees will easily complete their wok on time. Employees can manual scheduling
or on business calendar. It will help hem to notice completion timing of all, so they will
be able to improve their efficiency and will try to complete allotted work on time (Buntat
and et.al, 2013).
 Work steadily: it is another strategy this will help to concentrate more on work rather than
other. This will help to complete the task on time with quality (Time management tactic,
2015).
TASK 3
3.1
In a physical store there are many members, it is very necessary that they work together
and perform their duties in unity mainly there are two main members; floor manager and team
members. Floor manager plays a role of motivator, individual is responsible to motivate its team
members so that all wok together and give good output. It is the responsibility of manager to pay
attention on quality of cloths of Timbacourt. So for producing high quality products individual
plays a role of observer and controller. Manager observe activities, attitude, working pattern of
all staff members and monitor them effectively. According to their behaviour individual provide
them necessary training so that they can improve their lacking points (Quinn and et.al, 2012).

Team members play a role of assets, their skills, knowledge support in achieving the goal
of the company. They all can work together by better coordinating with each other. By
improving communication system HR manager of Timbacourt will be able to resolve the work
based problem easily. It will assist in reducing misunderstanding thus people will understand
each other and will perform better in the workplace. To wok in a team and as a team it is
essential to that top managers identify the needs of employees. It will help them to provide such
reward system which can satisfy their requirements. It will enhance their satisfaction level and
they will work together in a team.
3.2
Team dynamics are the factors which influence the mind of staff members and change
their behaviour towards the brand. It can be developed nature of team members, relationship
among them, leader style, environment etc. Team dynamics is very important in increasing
retention rates and performance of individual. Leadership is the main force which affect the team
dynamics in Timbacourt, as if leader is negative and do not pay attention to its executives then
they will not be able to perform their duties well (Rasul and et.al,2013). Thus, it will create
dissatisfaction and demotivation in the people and they will think for leaving the job.
Relationship is another major concern, if manager is not having strong bonding with its
executives then it may create problem in the organization. This misunderstanding can turn into
big conflict reason (Buntat and et.al, 2013). For instance if sales manager create healthy working
environment in workplace so it will reduce pressure of sales team and they will be able to
communicate well with each other. By is way they will be able to increase sales of the company.
Thus, it will be beneficial for Timbacourt as cited firm will be able to accomplish its objective.
They will become loyal towards the brand and will contribute their best efforts for the success of
the company.
3.3
As team members and managers both haves their own role and responsibility in the
Timbacourt (Buntat and et.al, 2013). There are several alternative ways which can support in
accomplishing the objective of the cited firm: Dividing responsibilities: It is effective strategy and way, by dividing the roles and duties
of each person HR manager ill be able to make them understand about their job profile
(Jackson, 2014). There will not be any confusion and performance of them will get

improved. Dividing of responsibility will develop sense of sincerity among them and they
will put their best efforts to complete task within stipulated time duration. Development of effective communication: It is another effective alternative way, by
developing communication between employees and manager of Timbacourt, HR manager
will be able to reduce conflicts situation. People will be able to share their feelings with
each other effectively. Thus, no confusion will result into quality production of goods.
 Make people understand about obligation: It is another alternative strategy this can help
to make them understand with their job responsibilities and obligation towards the
Timbacourt. So team members will perform their task impressively and will deliver
quality services to clients
Objective of Timbacourt is to open more physical outlets in London, for
accomplish this goal successfully it is very important that HR manager implement these
strategies effectively in the floor so that all can perform their duties effectively and no confusion
takes place (Buntat and et.al, 2013).
TASK 4
4.1
Production and communication are two main problems in Timbacourt. Total quality
management tool (TQM) are helpful in developing solution of issues of the workplace (Time
management tactic, 2015). These techniques can support in raising standards and effectiveness in
their production. Several methods are as below maintained: Brainstorming: This is the great tools it supports in identifying the reason behind
occurring the problem. Manager can make check list and can use flow chart for
understanding the root cause and for resolving them (Buntat and et.al, 2013). Pie chart and bar graphs: Timbacourt HR manager can use this tool for developing
solution of the production problem. As by taking support of charts, manager can compare
the performance previous and now and can make strategies to improve the performance
of individual. OS that problem of production can be resolved. This charts will help to
identify the main reason of this issue so solution can be find out by top authorities of
cited firm (Time management tactic, 2015).

 Observation: It is another tool which can help to analyse the root cause of problem.
Employees can take support of their seniors and can take guidelines of managers so that
they can understand their responsibility and improve their performance (Jackson, 2014).
Training sessions can also help to resolve issue of production. By this way manager will
be able to enhance knowledge and skills of persons thus, they will be able to improve their
efficiency.
4.2
As it is found that lack of interaction between employees and managers is the great
problem. For resolving this issue it is very necessary to make appropriate strategies which can
help to reduce this problem as soon as possible (Time management tactic, 2015). Appropriate
strategies to resolve the problem are as below:
Taking feedback from workers: It is the most suitable strategy and most effective way to solve
the work based problem. By taking time to time feedback from employees, manager can identify
the root cause of the problem so it will help to resolve the problem by hitting at target. It will
help to make them satisfy thus, they will coordinate well with each other (Mullins, 2004). By this
way confusion, misunderstanding will be minimized because there will be effective coordination
among workers.
4.3
Taking feedback is great strategy but this can impact on the Timbacourt in both way.
Issue of time man agent, production, communication can be resolved by this method. It can
impact positive on the cited firm, as it will enhance confidence of workers and they will trust on
the company. Thus, they will put their best efforts to increase quality production. For that they
will communicate well with higher authorities and managers. It will give optimistic result to the
organization. Conflicts will be reduced to great extent. By taking feedback manager will be able
to analyse the root cause of time management problem, thus, individual will develop healthy
environment in which person will motivate them by giving rewards so they will be loyal towards
the brand. They will share their feeling and ideas with each other thus, it will impact positive and
Timbacourt will be able to accomplish its objective (Time management tactic, 2015).

CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that employability skills are very essential to
grow in the career. HR manager has to perform its duties effectively, individual should focus on
root cause of problem and have to formulate alternative strategies so that work based problems
can be resolved. By making coordinated environment firm can run business smoothly and can
accomplish its objective. Taking feedback is great strategy, it can support in getting optimistic
results in the organization.
