INTRODUCTION
Skills acts as an one of the most important element within a person overall personality in
this today fast paced developing society (Tran, 2015). It has been seen in each and every
business concerns despite of their size and scope that they perform their common motive such as
growth and enhancements. In this present scenario, employability skills concepts are discussed in
a formative manner which further lead towards growth and development of an organisation. It is
mainly a long-term decision which is levied on workers along with other related individuals who
are linked with business concerns in some manner. Skills are utilised to effectively determine an
individual overall skill and evaluation of any kind of further which is required to be undertaken.
In these report formative discussions has been made on Travelodge hotels, which is one of the
leading and growing business sector within hospitality industry by having around 500 hotels
situated within United Kingdom. This report discusses skills of an individual along with
numerous set of self responsibility that will benefit in performance management. Along with
these smart techniques has been mentioned in this report. Lastly concept of motivational skills
which will help in improving performance quality of an individuals are also been covered in this
present report.
TASK 1
1.1 Developing a set of own responsibilities and performance objectives
In order to develop self responsibilities in a developing way it is essential for an individual
to evaluate skills in best effective manner. Knowledge and skills of individuals can be increased
with the help of continuous interactions with qualification and outside environment. I chosen
smart techniques in order to conduct my personal evaluation as Travelodge manager with the
help of this I can easily able to conduct my personal evaluation along with proper understanding
of my formative responsibilities and rules. Mentioned below there are some roles and
responsibility which is required to be undertaken by me as assistant manager:
