The rationale for choosing this topic is to analyse the impact of employee motivation within Tesco
that influence the organization performance. This in turn recognized as a research issue because
motivating employees will be beneficial for the company to meet the defined aim (van Tuin and
et.al., 2020). That is why, through thematic analysis, scholar can determine strategies through which
the employee performance can improved.

Adam Equity theory and Maslow Hierarchy theory etc.

However, there are many methods through employees can be motivated like rewards in the form of
monetary and non-monetary form which assists to raise the performance. Paais and PATTIRUHU
(2020) argued that promotion is the most effective employee motivational strategy that helps to
generate the best outcomes. It is so because employees become happy in their promotion which

reflected in their performance. On the other side, developing relevant training and development
session within an organization will also help to raise the employee performance and generate the
