INTRODUCTION
Background of the research
In this present research the researcher has focused on determining the impact of
increasing employee turnover on the overall performance of the business (Chiat and Panatik,
2019). Employee turnover is defined as the total number of employees who leave the
organisation after a certain period of time. It is the choice of employees to leave the company
voluntarily and this affects the business performance and productivity in the long run. The
chosen organisation in this current research is Sainsbury's. Sainsbury's is considered as a
successful supermarket retailer chain which focus on offering great quality, delicious food at
competitive prices to the customers in the business market (Keneti and Sainsbury, 2018).

To identify the impact of increasing employee turnover on business performance. A case
