1 Ways to record progress in relation to a personal development plan In a company, I am looking for a job which requires maintaining my Personal Development Plan (PDP) so that I will be able to look at my targets I am required to meet on daily basis and keeping updates about my progress. PDP contains my courses and certificated I did or achieved to keep it as an evidence to show the supervisor about my competencies and abilities in that particular areas. It is important for keeping evidence about an individual’s competencies in some areas where he/she is good at as many employers in a company ask for training and development proofs at the time of interview(Spruce, 2020).This is why; PDP helps me keeping my daily record of proving my learning skills to the employer and to show it practically while performing to set a point of view for them under the legislative compliance and standards. In the PDP, there is the record of my achievements I did before going for applying and working in a kind of job in the industry I would love to. PDP is for keeping check about following it in real and to make sure that this plan helps towards achieving goals(Cooper, 2016). My personal skills, objectives and improvements are mentioned in PDP to record my own progress for future development and improvement by measuring the goals I want to achieve while deciding the time limit of doing it. This helps me to know my strengths, weaknesses and where I lack in which needs improvement for my further development. It is essential to do it regularly so that I can be disciplined and know what I can do and what not. PDP consists of my how am I working, what I accomplished till now, what is required to be improved, and what knowledge and skills I gained till now for letting an employer know about such skills to achieve goals. It is essential to review the process when possible which helps an individual to keep in mind about revising the goals and plan development activities accordingly to make sure about where to go and what to do in future along with knowing ways to do it(Tracy, 2020).I feel helpful to maintain my PDP by keeping records of what I achieved and what I will achieve in future and this process will keep on going even after I get the job in the industry I want to work in. Thus, based on my opinion, I would prefer a PDP for myself for managing the requirements I need along with recording the progress consists of formal certificates, ability and skills, and previous achievements. Hence, above explained is my idea of PDP I would prefer for recording my progress through the process and now, the given example will show my way of maintaining this process to show it to an employer in an industry I would love to work in.

It requires some efforts from an individual on daily or monthly basis but it worth consuming time on for checking self-ability and skills enhancement and right for achieving the job in the industry(Peterson, 2020).
