Part 2: Project budget, estimate and project stakeholders
This part of the report depicts the importance of project budgeting, its estimation and
stakeholders associated. In order to accomplish any project successfully, it is necessary for the
stakeholders to keep themselves engaged to job roles. Warka water tower which is an alternative
water source that provides service to the people belongs to rural environment. Wherever, any
water supplier faced some critical challenges during the access of drinking water due to
infrastructure lacks in terms of community isolation, easy construction different independent
systems like Warka Water Tower can be installed. The model or design basic of the Warka
Water Tower is quite strong and the components of the water tower are as follows:
The total height of the tower: Fiber structure of 30 feet
The basement is: 10 feet
Above that a water collecting tank is prepared
All above a mesh is present which is closed with a dome
3 feet of air passing passage between the mesh and the water collecting tank
The brilliant design of the water tank harnesses drinking water from the thin air, was first
installed in the year of 2014. This design is capable to produce potable water through harvesting
fog, rain etc. This water tower is comprises of bamboo frame, rope, mesh that is recyclable,
canopy etc. Basically, this kind of water tank can be prepared with a minimum budget. The total
cost estimated or this project is AUD $10000-20000. However, the total budget estimated for the
project must be approved by the project sponsors. Based on the scope, deliverables and
objectives of the project the project budget have been prepared.

However, during the ongoing phase of the project, it has been found that, an important
equipment is missing that cannot be undertaken without third party outsourcing. The third party
outsourced for the project, is allocated on a budget rate of AUD $5000-20000.
In order to prepare such water tower the stakeholders nominated include: Project
manager, contractor, Finance manager, material supplier, architect, third party sponsors. It can be
said that in order to prepare such Warka water tower, minimum cost will be needed. It is
expected that, with the implementation of such water tower the company or industry will be able
to get high revenue and commercial benefits. It will supply drinking water and water to serve
other purposes, to the people of rural areas.
A complete budget, stakeholders through estimating cost for each of the project activities
are prepared in this report and elaborated in the below section. It can be said that, successful
utilization of the stakeholders, budget and time will lead the project towards success. The
