Enterprise Development
Enterprise development is the process that will help the organization to get synchronized
operations between different divisions or departments. The main objective of enterprise
development is to make a specific design to accomplish a specific task related to the sales and
marketing or controlling of inventory. The enterprise development proposed by me in my earlier
assignment is about Happy Air. It was a Thailand based airline which offers domestic services to
the customers as well as chartered services.
Definition and objective of enterprise development:
From the knowledge I have gained during doing my assignment on the enterprise
development, I have understood the broader definition of enterprise development. The main
objective of enterprise development is overall growth of the business. This growth can be
achieved in various ways. Presently, the trend of digitization in the organization is followed by
many business organizations as the business model. The enterprise development can be achieved
through the right business model.
From the study of happy Air and their application in the enterprise development model, I
have understood that digitization of the digital disruption has important role in the growth of the
company. Apart from that it also helps the organization in competitive market. The use of digital
practices increases the connectivity between the different departments of Happy Air. Apart from
that, during the evaluation of the business process at Happy Air, I have seen that the automated
process in the ticket booking and the inline enquiry system have enhanced the service to the
consumer.

2ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT
Happy Air is a domestic airline which also offers the chartered flight services. I have
assumed that providing chartered services to the consumers are giving high revenue to the
organization. In order to maintain an organized management of the consumer management and
data management the implementation of the enterprise development is needed.
From my understanding, enterprise development is about planning and identification of
the objectives of the organizations. This also includes, prioritizing the activities within the
organization. Enterprise development is connected with the business development, though these
two terms are not the same.
I have understood that the enterprise development system is about the overall
development of the organization. However, in the present situation the enterprise development is
about the managing the IT operations in the organization. From the evaluation of the Happy Air
website, I have seen that, full digital disruption in the organization needs the modifications and
the changes of the workings at different departments. The goal of enterprise development is to
achieve the advancement of information and communication technology strategically in a well
planned manner.
The decision making on the projects and taking development initiatives can be done
through assigning right priority to the right task in the organization. Apart from that the analysis
of the external environment like the business situation of the competitor organization is also
helpful in this case.
From my understand the key objectives of the enterprise development are-
