It compares the business plans of Soul Kitchen, an Australia-based food truck business, and Blueprints Business Planning Pty Ltd, a business consulting firm. The analysis includes the impact of political, economic, social, technological, legal, and environmental factors on both companies. Business plan is being considered as one of the important strategic tool that can help the
entrepreneur to take the specific step that can help to manage the entrepreneur to take the specific
step for ensuring the organizational growth (González-Serrano et al. 2017). In order to ensure
the successful business idea, the effective role of business plan not only helps to develop both the
short term and long term objectives, but also it helps to analyze both the internal as well as
external environment in the workplace. The business plan of Soul kitchen has been mentioned in
this study. Soul Kitchen is Australia based Food truck business, which is a pizza making
company established in the year 2015. The target customer of this organization is Melbourne
people. On the other hand, Blueprints Business Planning Pty Ltd aims to assist the small and
medium size business plans. It is basically a consultation firm that provide standard advices to
the entrepreneurs for ensuring the standard business performances. It is based in Sydney and
provides different types of budgeting help to the entrepreneurs.
The purpose of this study is to compare two business plans of Soul kitchen and Blueprints
Business Planning Pty Ltd. analyzing the business environments of the companies and those
impact for driving the organizational performances have been described. At the end of this study,
solutions against the issues have been provided.
Business environment analysis
In order to analyze the business environment PESTLE analysis can play an effective role
for understanding the business environment in proper manner. Using the PESTLE analysis tool,
it can be easier for measuring the impact of macro factors on the business environment.
Political factors

It cannot be denied that Australia is being considered as one of the politically peaceful
country in the globe. However, the local as well as international governances are important for
managing the business practices in the company (Krpálek and Krelová 2016). The local
Australian government follows the strict regulations in case of sharing the strong market
structure in Australia. In this situation, both the organizations namely Blueprints Business
Planning Pty Ltd. and Soul kitchen are liable for following the market rules. On the other hand,
analyzing the political environment in Australia, it has also been identified that power of non-
government organizations are also high in this case involvement of activist group in the policy
making process can create challenges for achieving thee corporate goals of both the companies.
Economic factors
Economic factors are very important for driving thee financial performance of an
organization. Analyzing the employment strength in Australia, it has been identified that
availability of high skilled employees in the market is moderate (Grünig and Kühn 2015). After
the recession in 2018, the liquidity system in the Australian market has increased the inflation
rate. As a result, the breakdown in Australian economy has brought impact on different

ineffectiveness may cause the loss of brand image and customer loyalty, which can drive the
negative growth in the organization. However, being a business consulting organization, threat of
social factor is low in case of Blueprints Business Planning Pty Ltd.
On the other hand, standard educational system in this country has made the customers highly
concern about the services they are purchasing. By continuing this, it can also be said that
educational standard can also ensure the availability of skilled employees in the country, which
can indirectly influence the hiring process in the companies.
Technological factors
In the emerging business environment, technology is being considered as one of the
important environmental factors that denotes the creativity and innovation in the workplace.
Analyzing the technological environment in Australia, it can be said that the country has
introduced various technological innovation in the trade industry (Holcombe 2018). Due to
enhancement of internet, marketing process has become easier for the companies. Utilizing

discrimination and health and safety regulations have been introduced by the Australian
government for ensuring the standard services to the customers. Therefore, it can be said that
legal factors are not in favorable situation for both the companied.
Environmental factor
The strict environmental protection Act is being followed in the country. In that case,
developing effective waste management strategy has become necessary for ensuring the standard
growth in the organization (Bilandzic, Foth and Hearn 2019). By continuing this, it can also be
said that the Australian government has introduced strict regulation regarding the recycling

The management strategy of the consultancy has been developed based on targeting the
potential customers in Sydney. The target market of this company is small and medium sized
organizations. Analyzing the business strategy of Blueprints Business Planning Pty Ltd, it has
been identified that the company has focused on grabbing the attention of young office goers
through the introduction of cost effective products. In most of the cases, for the marketing
purpose, the word of mouth strategy is being adopted by the company. However, in case of Soul
Kitchen, the traditional mode of promotion is being followed by the company. The management
authority has introduced its promotional strategy through different social media platform. A
separate web page has been developed by the company. Adding graphics and designs, the
attractiveness of the page has been increased (Grafton et al. 2019). In order to proceed with the
standard delivery system, in the webpage, variety of foods as well as contact number of the
company has been mentioned so that the customers can easily reach to the company. In order to
attract large numbers of customers towards the business Soul Kitchen has decided to improve its
pricing policy (Boer and Gruber 2017). On the other hand, in case of Blueprints Business
Planning Pty Ltd, the cost effective pricing policy is going to be introduced by the company.
Working with a single firm will not help the both the companies for surviving in front of its
competitors. The study has focused on where the proper execution of the business may result to

a legal advisor, which will be handling all the regulatory activities in the company. In order to
preventing the loss, the owner of Blueprints Business Planning Pty Ltd needs to focus on
improving thee organizational structure so that proper report regarding the investment, profit and
loss can be maintained. On the other hand, in case of Soul food truck, it has been identified that
an efficient food tester needs to be added in the organizational hierarchy so that the standard
quality of food can be provided to the customers. All the management plans needs to be
introduced for ensuring the standard customer service standard. Additional equipment needs to
be purchased by the owner so that the proper track regarding the business can be maintained. In
case of consultancy firm, appropriate licensing is needed for ensuring the authenticity of the
business. In order to standardize the business plan, the food truck company can add A$70000 in
the first year. The management strategy of the consultancy has been developed based on

Comparing strength as well as weaknesses of both the companies, it has been analyzed that in
the Australian business environment, both the companies will get huge opportunities for ensuring
the positive growth in the organization. It has been identified that increasing numbers of
competitors in the market is one of the major concerns of both the companies for making the
sustaining position in the market. Analyzing the current situation in both the companies it can be
recommended that
 An effective organizational structure is needed to be introduced so that the internal
operations can be properly handled
 Working structure needs to be improved so that and skilled employees can be recruited
for handling the store.
 Effective legal framework is needed to be introduced so that with the introduction of
