Environmental pollution and control measures to minimize pollution
Environment as an area around us has a composition of components which may be of importance
to us or not. Some components are basic for our living while others are for making our
environment beautiful. Some of environmental components are living while others are non
living. Living part of environment involves all living organisms such as plants and animals.
While non living part of environment involves all environmental factors that do not have life
they include; air, water, stones, and dead plants. The living and non living environment depends
on each other I’m a way such that living organisms depend on non living or non living depends
on living. The relationship is caused by some determinants which are entailed in each other. For
example an animal breathes in oxygen and out carbon (iv) oxide. Some products from animals
decompose to contribute on generation of particular products on the environment such as a gas.
For an environment to be conducive some factors need to be kept constant and also the
environment must be favorable in terms of factors necessary to airport life. Despite the fact that
the environment should be conducive in terms of all component maintained constant, some

nations due to list for money normally go ahead and exploit such components and therefore end
up destroying the factors of the environment. When there is emission of harmful substances in
the environment we say the environment has been polluted. In most cases some components of
environment such air and are highly polluted due to their vulnerability (Tobiszewsis,
2012.p.112).
Air pollution has been the most and rapid issue in our today’s environment. For animals to
survive in an environment they need to use oxygen which is entailed in the air, therefore when
our air is polluted human being and other animals may suffer from some breathing difficulties.
The breathing difficulties caused by air pollution can be addressed and controlled. In most cases,
air pollution is caused by human beings. It can also be caused by other animals. For example
human beings in the field of production and other economic activities they may pollute our air
via production or emission of harmful substances to the environment. These harmful substances
include harmful gases and chemicals. The harmful gases tend to react with the air we breathe and
therefore it becomes poisonous or harmful to our health as it chips in through our breathing
system. The system may become contaminated or altered and therefore making the operational
process of the system defective. The defect in the breathing system may cause failure of the
entire system. Also the system may be infected with a dangerous disease like cancer. The human
activities which cause air pollution are numerous depending on the environment. For example, a
farmer may pollute the environmental air by raising dust when performing farming duties like
land preparation and other activities (Facchinelli, 2001.p.144). The air pollution has been an
issue since the introduction of locomotives and industrial machinery was launched on the world.
The air pollution has affecting our environment through different ways. The emission of carbon
(ii) oxide in the air has affected our environment vary greatly. The gas has been participating in

pollution of our environment by breaking of ozone layer that has led to overheating of the earth.
The problem has taken over in that when the ozone layer has been depleted, as they act the role
of preventing the sun rays from reaching the earth directed, it now exposes our death to the direct
sunray which normally scotches our plants and also we are affected by the problem. The
overheating of the earth caused by depletion of ozone layer that occurs as a result of emitting
harmful substances in the air (Nriagi,1988.p.50). In addition, the air pollution can be caused by
other living organisms such as animals. When animals die they decompose and on decomposing
a very bad and rotten smell is emitted. The emission of this bad smell in the air may cause
difficulty in breathing the situation may be favorable for animals but very disturbing to a human
being. The animal caused air pollution may temporal and with less negative effects as compared
to human-caused air pollution. The nations are advised by international environmental
conservation organization that there should be minimal cases of production of harmful
substances to the environment. The air we breathe has been contaminated for quite a long time
and therefore companies are advised to make fuels which contain little or no lead ad it had been
the main pollutant that has been affecting our air. The nations which specialize on
industrialization are therefore advised to be strict Ob their products to avoid air pollution which
might uncontrollable challenge to our environment if not solved (Bilbert, 1987.p.7).
Water pollution is another issue which has been a problem and a big threat to our environment.
As it is very clear that water in other term is life, the name given to water as life it describes the
purpose of water in our environment. WaterWater as a basic need for all living organisms such
as animals and plants. Water pollution is mostly caused by human beings. In our environment,
when water is polluted it poses a big threat to the environment that, people may die animals may
suffer and many other problems. When water is polluted by chemicals and a chemical rain takes
