INTRODUCTION
Equality and diversity, or multiculturalism, is the idea of promoting and accepting the
differences between people, means equal opportunities for every student based on age,
gender, disability, pregnancy, religion, marriage. Equality means that people are not
treated indigenous or different from each other, everyone have equal rights, no student
should be left out as everyone has the right to learn. Whereas diversity means value
each other, respect each other’s culture and respect each other’s differences to create
an all-inclusive atmosphere.
Promoting equality and diversity in education is essential for both teachers and
students, the aim is to create a classroom environment where all students can thrive
together and understand that individual characteristics make people unique and not
different in a negative way.
In an organization the employees get equal and fair pay on the basis of their
skills and abilities. The report shows that the individual needs to know the culture which
helps to promote equality and diversity in that organization. Report shows how to
promote equality in an organization, shows the roles and responsibilities of organization
towards equality and create a learning environment, the abilities to learn, the barriers
that affect to develop equality in an organization.
Barriers like culture and language that affects overall working or learning in an
organization, the awareness as an individual to maintain equality in an organization.
Report shows the work environment with other agencies and their role to promote
equality, the importance of equality within an organisation, how to motivate the
individuals to promote equality, how to teach maintaining equality in an organization.
The communication strategies are required to develop equality in an organization.

Task 1
A Identify and explain the 9 categories with regards to equality and diversity.
Equality and diversity termed out as ensuring everyone about the equal opportunity. It is
defined as promoting equal opportunities for all and it gives everyone a chance to
accomplish the potential and that must be free from discrimination and prejudice. This is
defined as an effective term that relates with placing positive values on those
differences.
Equality ensures the individuals that they are not treated differently based on age, race,
gender, disability, religion or belief and sexual orientation. For promoting equality, all
sort of discrimination should be removed in all mentioned areas. Bullying and
harassment are also part of Equality and Diversity issues. Equality is about making
everyone feel unique and free from all forms of discriminations. Everyone has the right
to be valued.
Hence, 9 categories in relation to equality and diversity defined following manner as are:
Age – the first point came regarding equality and diversity is age under the employment
equality regulations came into force in October 2006 which describe that any unlawful
discrimination against any activity with the employees or with any trainees because of
their age is not considered. If any organisation, discriminates against employees or any
of the trainee or any of the senior employees regarding age is entrenched.
Gender – in some organisations the managers make discrimination between men and
women believing that men can do more than women can. Female can do the same
work as men and sometimes can perform better at work than men. Women and men
are diversified by gender, but they have equal rights at work or in real life.
Disability - disability is one of the most protected characteristics, a person who is
disabled from any part of the body, from physical or mentally disabled, then it is our duty
to help them to learn instead of discriminating them.

Gender reassignment- is a personal or medical process through an individual’s gender
has being changed. It’s a process of transitioning from one gender to another. Anyone
who starts or has completed a process to change his or her gender is protected from
discrimination under the Equality Act (Employment, 2010).
Marriage and civil partnership- It’s about people who are legally married. The equality
Act makes it unlawful if these people are discriminated. For example, the same sex
couples who are civil partners must be treated like any other married couple.
Pregnancy and maternity- The Equality Act 2010 describes that where someone
threatens any woman on the base of pregnancy or in terms of maternity is a serious
matter and it’s against the law. Pregnancy is that period of time of being pregnant or
expecting a baby. Maternity is the period after child birth and it’s linked to maternity
leave. The law protects women during their pregnancy. The Act gives protection
against discrimination to women who are pregnant or maternity leave.
Race-This refers to the characteristics of race. Race refers to that group of people
defined by colour, nationality, ethic or national origin. In Equality Act 1976 says that it’s
being unlawful to “discriminate against anyone on ground of race, colour”. Every person
has the right to be treated fairly and be protected against racial discrimination.
Religion or belief- Person who has different trust of religion or any other beliefs Like if
a person who has some beliefs can be threatened by the classmates and this can affect
negatively their learning.
Sexual orientation- any abuse against any person that is attracted towards his or her
own sex or opposite sex or both sexes within an organization or class, they have the
right to be treated fairly. Any harassment on these persons is unlawful and it must be
considered as a crime. The law protects every individual against discrimination (Riach,
and Brewis, 2019)

B: Define diversity
Diversity means understanding that each person is different and unique, refers about
the stage where all the people want to stop the inequality and go beyond this and
diverse and range of different things. Understanding each individual and recognizing the
individual's needs and demands against the differences is diversity.
Issues relating achievement to gender or age-The main issue which rise from the
ancient times where the base of the inequality on the gender and age. In United
Kingdom the diversity is one step forward towards the issues relating to the
achievement to gender and age. In this world there is more gender inequality upon the
men and women factors where only men are asked and it is the truth which is now
taking diversity in term of gender inequality. Diversity is now seen in terms of gender
inequality where in UK most of the schools have women teaching staff. One of the
major challenges for the education system is making Head Teacher roles more
appealing to female applicants. Around 39% of the teachers in state school are male
where now this data is been diversified by the female teachers.
Avoiding racial stereotyping- Discrimination in terms of race and stereotyping is now
the type of discrimination against black and white. Now this is changed in United
Kingdom as people are educated against them.
Issues of language acquisition and multilingualism- refers to the language
development of students exposed to two or more languages. People that came from
outside of UK have faced such problems in context of language.
Social inequalities- social responsibility are like gender, generation identity, generation
role is commonly associated with the inequalities.( Brown, 2016)
C: Why is important to promote equality and diversity?
Equality is about ensuring everybody has an equal opportunity to learn and is not
treated differently or discriminated against because of their characteristics. Diversity is

about taking account of the differences between people and groups of people and
placing a positive value on those differences.
Promoting equality and diversity in a school or workplace is primarily concerned with
preventing discrimination. We can promote equality and diversity by treating all staff and
students fairly, creating an inclusive culture, ensuring equal access to opportunities and
to enable students to fully participate in the learning process, promoting the best
practice at the workplace, enabling all staff and students to develop to their full potential.
Improving the diversity in our workplace can:
 Diversity brings many benefits to the business’s reputation;
 Diversity helps its recruitment and staff retention.
 Diversity increases productivity;
 A diverse staff can help the development of better services.
Equality and diversity in sector of multi- cultural society where diversity is important
which fills the gap between one community to other community and which helps every
community to grow and develop the society. Equality and diversity in sector of
broadening the workforce opportunities and employment because diversity is important
in every sector where every human being is judged on the same page and every human
being is equal as on the organization where diversity promised to help every individuals
and every individuals are the same and every single one has the opportunity to progress.
Therefore, importance of promoting equality and diversity is:-
Addressing learning or physical disabilities- This is crucial to address the learning
and physical disabilities of an individual. With help of it, equity and diversity can be
promoted in a better and effective manner.
Promoting social integration- is a structured process where the members participate in
the enforcement and maintenance of peaceful social relations. It is defined as promoting
values, relations that enables the people to take participation in economics, social and

political life on a basis of equality of rights and opportunities. Inclusive policies can make
the society better if they promote social integration.
Sense of community- It feels that sense of community is also one of crucial concept to
undertake the things properly. Thus, there are main four components as integration and
fulfilment of needs, membership, influence and shared emotional connections. It enables
in engaging with community and helping people.
D: Analyse the ways to promote equality and value diversity.
We can promote equality and value diversity by treating the staff and students fairly,
creating an inclusive culture for all students and staff, ensure that the Policies and
Procedures of the organisation do not discriminate anyone, ensuring that all students
have equal access to all the opportunities to learn.
Empowering individuals- by empowering the individuals means giving them
opportunities, providing them space to feel the freedom and have more control of their
lives and let them become confident.
Encouraging team working by encouraging them means that encouragement to the
teamwork where they can work together for the aim and achieve the aim of the
organization as a team with the diversity in them will disallow the differences like age,
colour and caste.
Engaging students: it is about the inclusiveness of all the students in class in various
dimensions in order to promote equality and diversity. It is about treating all students
fairly, creating an inclusive culture and ensuring equal access to opportunities and fully
taking part during the process of learning. For example- by providing equal opportunities
to student. also, be generating awareness about equality. (O'Donnell, 2016)

Task 2
A: What are the factors affecting learning? Review their impact on learning
The factors that affect the learning are: the age that can affect their concentration in
class, gender, the confidence of the students in themselves, the commitments the
students might have in their personal lives, the pregnancy, transgender, peer pressure
which can have a positive or negative effect, cultural or religious attitudes, educational
backgrounds and financial situations, development of language, the culture and religions
attitudes .
 Age- The age of learner has wide impact on learning of individual. Therefore, the
age of the person defines the learning capability of an individual.
 Educational background- the parents can affect the learning process of their
own children in a positive or negative way.
 Culture or religious attitudes- The culture and religious attitudes of individuals
also impacts the learning capabilities of some individuals as they can be
threatened by his classmates and this can affect their learning.
B: Review the impact of the different abilities on learning.
I will be discussing in this sub task about the impact of the different abilities on learning.
Some examples of abilities are nature – versus- nurture: nature is about the genes and
hereditary factors that influence who we are, the talent, the ability we were born with and
nurture refers to the environmental variables that impact who we are, how we were
brought up, educated by parents and in school, our culture and social relationships.
Some have better reading abilities as a student, some have better analytical skills, but
this depends on the students how much effort they put in their studying for having
amazing achievements.
Skill development- it is important to develop the student’s skills as it is essential for the
social growth.

Specific learning disabilities- the children with learning disabilities belong to a diverse
group. For example, the children with a learning impaired student can have a particular
reading complication that can affect the learning. A student with hearing impairment
affects communications and understanding therefore the learning can become harder.
C: What are the barriers to equality and diversity? How are they relevant to your
practice?
The barriers relevant to my practice are:
 Discrimination- when an individual shows intolerance towards a classmate, that
individual’s learning can be affected.
 Poor self-image- The in-equal distribution of equality and diversity leads to
create poor image in the eyes of individual.
Harassment- any inappropriate action against an individual’s decency or causing any
embarrassing, unfriendly environment causes a massive barrier to learn.( Peer and
Reid, 2016)
D: Suggest what can be done to remove these barriers in your organization
There are some ways I can eradicate the obstacles in my organisation
 Working with community- that involves working closely with social services,
health and education that could help the learners to get over critical problems they
may have in their personal lives.
 Sharing good practices- It is crucial for a teacher to run good practices in the
class because this can help the learners to perform better as it helps the learning
performance. For example – by organising various activities and games. By
sharing my views and opinions with them (Greene, 2019)
 Encourage team working- By encouraging the students to work in teams can
help them to explore and share information which is very beneficial for their
learning process.

A. Summarise the policy and regulatory frameworks relating to equality, diversity and
inclusive practice.
Policies and regulatory help to undertake business practices effectively. It is term that
brings out systematic performance within the enterprise. Thus, policies and regulatory
practices defined in following manner are-
Equality act 2010- It is the act that offers the legal framework to provide protection to
the rights of individuals and advances the equality of opportunity (Greene, 2019).
Therefore, this is made to protect children, individual and adults against discrimination.
It legally protects individuals from discrimination in the workplace and in the wider
society. The main aims of this discrimination act are to protects the individuals from
unfair treatment and promotes fair working conditions to all individuals.
Workplace regulations act- This is act that recovers the wide range of basic health,
safety and welfare issues. This is act that aids to prevent or minimise the risk at the
workplace (Khanum, and Dsouza, 2019). The main aim of this is act is to promote
framework by protecting the workers and other individuals against the harm to health,
welfare and safety through the removal of risk develop from work. Workplace
regulation act is responsible for inspecting workplaces, offer advice and help and
penalties. The main aim of WHS is to secure the health and safety of workers.
Criminal records bureau procedures- It is check process that aids to gather
information about the criminal conviction and other cautions, reprimands and final
warning given by police. Thus, criminal history can be used by the potential employers,
leaders and others to access the person's trustworthiness (Nachmias, Aravopoulou and
Caven, 2019).

Vocational and professional standards- It is the act that is developed in 2014 by the
education and training foundation. The main purpose of the standards is to maintain and
brings improvement in the standards of teaching and learning outcomes. It is inclusive
of standards that helps the individuals to develop their professional standards with
effective learning. It is frameworks for teachers and trainers to critically appraise the
own practices and bring improvement in the teaching of individual with help of
undertaking continuing professional development.
The Policy and Regulatory framework to equality and diversity:
Legislation: There are strategies that dictate the rules to promote Equality.
Disability ACT which secures the rights of all individuals with disability.
B. What are the influences of the above organisational policies on own practice?
The influence of the above on my organisational policies and practice:
Criminal record bureau procedure- This is procedure that is designed to inform the
staff and potential employees and it is legal responsibilities to ensure safe working
practices.
Quality assurance procedures- It impact the policies of the organisation as whole
process needs to be developed to enhance the quality of higher education. Quality
assurance system is inclusive of the arrangements system that contains the evaluation
of establishment and study programmes. Quality assurance procedure can provide a
framework for the quality of learning and teaching in an organisation.
Requirement fort CPD- This is defined as the ongoing process and continuous
throughout the professional career. It also impacts the policies of the organisation to
undertake the better and effective performance within the enterprise. This is crucial to
learn and develop as this enables to enhance skill and knowledge to work effectively,
legally and safely.

Influence on your practice
Awareness of current legislation- It is crucial to aware about the changes in current
legislation so that better performance can be undertaken. I must say that promoting
awareness about the policies aids to undertake better organisational practices.
Promoting through own approaches to teaching- Effective teaching practices requires
the creativity and innovation (Riach, and Brewis, 2019). Therefore, approaches as
verbal and non-verbal aids to encourage the student learning with mixed abilities to
work together by promoting small group activities. I have used both the approach that
has helped me to promote teaching practices in better and efficient mode.
Working with others to promote inclusive practice- It is practices that defines
teaching that identify the diversity of student and also enables the whole students to
fully participates in learning activities and to demonstrate about the knowledge. By
working with other to promote inclusive practices aids enriches and strengthens all
communities.
Confronting issues-as soon as we distinguish the needs of each learner, we can find
ways of teaching them so every learner will have the chance to learn. As teachers we
need to be aware of our own role and responsibility and understand the value of
diversity and respect for the (Nachmias, Aravopoulou and Caven, 2019).

C. Define how working with other agencies can promote diversity.

working with other and to support the other agencies the diversity can be promoted
effectively and For example- To promote the diversity the organisation should work with
Educational psychologist so that they can aware the people about the significance of diversity. I
will work with this kind of agencies as to call them to aware people and assist them with
diversified workforce..
Working with culture and community group- The activities that promotes the internal
diversity offer an enterprise the opportunity to broaden the cultural horizons and
expands its membership base to become the better reflection of the communities. By
working with the other community group and people with different backgrounds raises
the awareness of culture variations.
Specialist speakers- The inclusion of practices can be developed with help of diversity
speakers that enhances the speakers to raise the productivity, innovation, cooperation
and tolerance within the workplace. This can be one of the effective ways to promote
the diversity in the better and effective manner.
Enables student to access support agencies- The student must allow to promote
inclusive learning practices along with support agencies. Therefore, the active role of
student in their learning is to take participation in educational philosophy. Thus, skills
and efficient of the student can also be enhanced by enables student to access support
For example- Student should taken access of the education psychologist so that they helps them
in inclusive learning practices. Therefore, student service learning can positively impact the
student in variety of ways. It aids to improve personal efficacy, academic learning outcomes and
moral dev' and communication skills etc.
D. Reflection on how the promotion of equality and diversity can protect learners from
risk of harm.

Tackling discrimination- The differences based on age, gender, class and ethnicity
impacts the students in a negative way (Nachmias and Caven, 2018). It is crucial to
tackle the discrimination so that better organisational practices can be undertaken.
I must say that promoting equality and effective learning facilities can be framed out
and this aids to motivate the individual to enhance their learning that is based on
free from biases, differences etc.
Tackling issues of stress related illness- promoting equality and diversity aids to
promote positive working environment within workplace. I must say that equality
and diversity assist to tackle the issue of stress related illness. Thus, fairness at the
workplace aids to ensure the better learning practices. Thus, all staff can work in
equitable and free manner. It is one of the effective thing that aids to protect the
learners from risk of harm.
Encourage student self-help and referral- equality and diversity allows learners to be
free from issues and encourage student to help themselves out from the obstacles.
When the students need more assistance and help, they can be referred to subject
specialists.
Appropriately trained and qualified learning support staff- The promotion of
equality and diversity aids to promote better and positive learning environment. This
leads to undertake better working practices and also enhance the learning of
individuals. Additionally, effectively trained and qualified staff leads to develop and
promote positive working environment as this provide proper assistance to all student
and enhance the learning skills of the For example- I took the step to promote equality and
diversity within student with use of strategy of training and encouraging. These both strategy has
helped me to promote the equality and diversity in positive manner.

Define the inclusive environment.
This is defined as environment in which members feel respected and connected to one
another within the workplace. It enables all people to be part of community and to
develop the sense of belongingness and also they become better prepared to undertake
future activities effectively. It offers the better opportunities for learning. An inclusive

working environment aids to enhance the values of individuals and group differences
within the workforce. Thus, inclusive workplace diverse employees so that they can able
to feel valued, integrated within the workforce instead of isolated.
Thus, it is one of the effective term as this creates the supportive environment for all the
learners and this is inclusive of learning differences (Ng and Klarsfeld, 2018). It is the
term that also build more responsive learning environment and make the staff effectively
trained and developed. It is said to be the environment in which everyone can feel
valued. Within the inclusion classroom the general education teachers and special
education teachers work together to meet out the needs of students in appropriate
manner. Thus, climate of inclusive classroom is defined as an environment in which all
the students feel supported academically and intellectually creates the sense of
belongingness within the classroom. The learning needs are provided regardless of
identity, learning preferences and education.
A. Why this is significant to promote an inclusive learning environment?
Creating positive attitude- Inclusive learning environment is one of the crucial aspect as this
leads to feel valued. This helps to build positive attitude within the individual. I must say that by
creating supportive environment for one another and this leads to build up the more responsive
learning environment. By undertake full participation in teaching, work and social activities
leads to build positive attitude within the workforce and this systematic practices aids to conduct
better working practices ( Nkomo and Thatcher, 2019).
Respect for others- The inclusive learning environment promotes environment in which
practices as equality and diversity aids to enhance the respect for others. I have analysed that
equal treatment to all aids to enhance the respect for one another. This is one of the crucial terms
as this helps out develop the sense of belongingness and promotes wide opportunities for
learning.
Collaborative working- This is term that promotes the culture and diversity. It also allows to
undertake partnership working that covers the variety of ways for the two or more enterprise so
that they can work together. I must say that collaborative working aids to divided up equally and
efficiently between those with the time and improve the whole performance. It is defined as

approach that require whole groups to come together to share their ideas on particular area for
improvement.
Shared responsibilities- This allows to share the responsibilities within one another and helps to
undertake the better organisational performance (Janssens and Steyaert, 2019). I must say that
providing assistance to one another allows to take participation and divide responsibilities within
the individuals.
Henceforth, it can be stated that inclusive learning facility is very beneficial as this helps
to every child to develop the sense of belongingness. This is also effective in terms to provide
the better quality of education and this is also instrumental in changing the discriminatory
attitudes within individuals.
B. Own roles and responsibilities in promoting inclusion, diversity and equality.
Promoting student inclusion- I must say that with the help of promoting the student
inclusion in the learning practices aids to create more positive working environment.
Thus, one of the significant part of promoting equality and diversity is termed out as
setting the norms within the classroom that aids to promote openness and inclusion
(Kato and Kodama, 2018). I feel that with help of promoting student inclusion there can
be enhancement skill acquisition and generalization. For example involving student in
group activities.
Encouraging self and peer assessment- This is term that allows to encourage to work
together. It helps to think in more positive and they take participation in all kind of
learnings (Alexiadou and Essex, 2016). Therefore, this is one of the effective terms that
promotes better and self-practices within the individuals. For example – by taking
feedback from students and teachers.
Responsibility for own action- I must say that to develop the inclusion practices the
focus must be given towards to look over the own actions. Thus, better evaluation must
be undertaken with help of undertaking the responsibilities of own action and to perform
better course of action. For instance- by comparing by practices with others.
Celebrating success- After, undertaking the effective monitoring on the overall process
aids to promote the inclusion, diversity and equality effectively. I feel that celebrating

success for the own actions helps to celebrate the success. For example – by doing
parties on special achievement.
C. Analyse the ways to promote inclusion
 Encourage best practices- The equality and diversity allows to encourage best practices
within the individual. It aids to carry out better working performance. I must say that the
professional must encourage best learning method so that better learning can be provided.
By the use of supporting agency like speech and language, educational psychologist the
inclusive practices can be promoted.
 Rewarding success- This is one of the crucial term that aids to promote success to
individual as equality leads to create more opportunities for learning (Alexiadou and
Essex, 2016). I have analysed that morale of learner can be enhanced with help of
rewarding their success. It can aids to promote inclusive learning facilities effectively as
this helps to reward the student on their success. Thus, encouraging is one of the effective
medium to promote inclusion.
 Positive attitude- If all employees feels equally and perform effectively then it aids to
build positive attitude and undertake performance effectively. Positive working
environment aids to promote the inclusion practices in well mannered.
 Empowering students- The student should feel empowered about their capabilities so that
they can enhance their learning more effectively. With the help of technique as
empowering the students can assist to promote the inclusion in better manner.
D. Action that can be taken to value individual learners and explain good practice in
providing individual learners with information.
Ice breakers- It is defined as activities that used to enhance the interaction among the
participants in meeting, team building session and another event.
Promoting intrinsic and extrinsic motivation- It involves of doing something personally that
rewards individual oneself. On the other hand, extrinsic motivation requires the achievement of
particular goal (Alexiadou and Essex, 2016).
Encourage positive group dynamics- This is one of the effective term that aids to encourage
positive work dynamic by promote equal participation of all workers.

Promoting personal values- I must say that teacher must promote personal value to guide the
students properly. With help of promoting better values the things can be undertaken effective
and efficiently (Kato and Kodama, 2018).
The following point needs to be consider for providing information-
Current and accurate- It is duty of teacher to use current and accurate information. Thus, right
information to student leads to guide them to conduct proper actions.
Effective language- This is crucial that the better use of language helps to communicate the
information more effectively.
Appropriate management strategies- I must say that teacher must use effective management
strategies that helps to undertake proper course of action plan. Thus, use of better strategies aids
to carry out better results.
Dissemination versus direction- This is very effective term as this is intentionally developed
approach to dissemination of particular subject. It is essential for uptake and use of research
findings.
For examples- I have taken the sessions as team building, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation
approach as the action so this can enable the student to feel more empowered and encouraged.
This kind of action can helps to positive working environment.
TASK 5
A. Explanation on relationship between own role and role other professional involved in
inclusive practices.
It is crucial for teacher to know their professional boundaries and understand the limits these
boundaries impose on their teaching. There are differ kind of boundaries that role of teacher
needs to abide such as legislative requirement, professional code of conduct that impose
restriction on teacher. In the other professional there is no such restriction that impose restriction
on an individual. I must say that learner must evaluate their own limitation so that they can
improve the areas with help of corrective actions. With the use of evaluation and feedback
strategies the learner can find out the lacking areas that needs to be improved. Thus, student must
frame their own checklist so that they can identify where they are doing correct or not. With the
use of effective plan of action the all things can be undertaken in better mode.

Offer testing-
The teacher can identify their learning practices with help of undertaking exam of their
student and this will help them their capability to get involve in inclusive practices. In the other
professionals there is no such testing available it can be identified with help of profitability and
productivity (Alexiadou and Essex, 2016). I have analysed that offer testing of the knowledge
and skills of individual aids to carry out better evaluation of their learning.
Seeking guidance from advanced practitioners- They also take the guidance from advanced
teaching authority that can promote better learning to student. In other professional there is no
such facility is available. I must say that with help of support of advanced practitioners the
learning of individual can be enhanced.
B. Identify the points of referral that are available to meet the needs of individuals.
In the occasions in which a teacher is made aware about the needs of an individual
learner that are impacting upon their learning. It may create the issues as are financial
issues, family problems, or lack of transport (Alexiadou and Essex, 2016). In this
manner, the teacher can help with some problems, for example setting up of the online
resources for learners just because they are unable to regularly attend classes.
However, some difficulty may need the learner to seek help from elsewhere, such as if
there is a medical reason for non-attendance. The teacher should always know where
to refer the learner in such cases. For undertaking points of referral, the following things
are needed to be considered as are-
Traffic light system- It is one of the effective tools that can be used by teachers to
check that whether the students are performing effectively or not (Alexiadou and Essex,
2016). I must say that teacher can immediately see the result and adjust the teaching
method to have more effective results.
Mentor support- This is defined as long term relationship that meets development
need and assists students to develop full potential. I have noticed that better support of
mentor aids to develop students more professionally.

Work based learning provider- The teacher must liaise with working providers to
easily refer students to them so that they can achieve in their learning. This applies if
the course is work-based and the student need to do placement to achieve.
Specialist subject support- Each student must be given effective specialist supporter
so that better and effective performance can be conducted.
I had face the situation as student were not supporting each other and this has huge
impact on their learning efficiency. To overcome this I has taken the use of inclusive learning
practices so that efficiency and effectiveness of students cab be encouraged. This kind of things
helps to facilitate better environment. Due to this, student can feel empowered and they can also
support each other in enhancement within their learning capacity.
C. Description on strategies to promote diversity.
Follow up- It is crucial to follow up all course of action to effectively develop
professional standards. With help of undertaking the follow up, the better course of
action can be taken.
Keep in up to date- The periodical information about the learning practices of student
must be collected. Thus, inclusion must be conducted with help of updated information
of professional standards.
Share information- This is crucial to share the information with others as well. It helps
to undertake better course of actions.
TASK 6
A. How to promote equality and diversity with lesson plan.
Promoting equality and diversity and inclusive practices in classroom, the all
learners must be familiar with proper knowledge. Henceforth, this defined in the
following manner as:
 To set out communication strategies;
 Positive use of verbal and nonverbal language;
 Use an appropriate tone while teaching;
 Empowering the students;

 By using appropriate language skills or level;
 It aids to deal with the challenges and negative attitudes.
B. Define organisational culture.
Culture is defined as integrated pattern of human knowledge, behaviour and belief that
aids to bring out systematic working performance.
Organisation culture termed out as underlying assumption, values and ways of
interacting that contributes to the unique social and psychological environment of
organisation. Henceforth, culture is based on shared attitudes, beliefs, unwritten and
written rules. Additionally, organisation culture can be termed out as set of shared
assumption that guides what happens within the enterprise by defining the appropriative
behaviour for various situation. It is termed out as the way in which organisation
conducts its business, treats its employees and wider community.
C. Provide examples how own behaviours impacts negatively and positively on culture
of organisation.
Organisation culture refers as a mix of attitudes, values and tradition that shapes life for
its staff. Thus, positive and negative impact can be defined as:
I have not that much good communication skills sometimes at work, so my poor
communication makes me less confident as a person. I don't talk openly with the staff
and do not share thoughts with management that leads to breakdown in trust.
Additionally, the positive and negative effects of organisation culture influence
managers as well lower ranged employee. For example- small enterprise may expect
managers to assist out employees when they need it. This is a positive culture that
fosters the spirit of teamwork. On the other hand, unhealthy organisation culture leaves
employee feeling unhappy, due to decreased motivation to commit to job.
For example – when I was given a complex task I did harsh conversation with manager
in front of juniors. So, my behaviour impacted on organisational culture. It created
negative affect on my colleagues.

Another example – I talked with one to my colleague in bad manner in front of others.
So, it affected my own behaviour and organisational culture in negative way.
For instance – Sometimes I behave in bad way due to personal problems. So, it
impacted on my professional life as well. The negative impact of it was that other
colleague also behaved in same way after few days.
Another example taken is sometimes I became rude with my co worker. So, it lead to
negative impact on organisational culture.
TASK 7
Review the effectiveness of own inclusive practices and promotion of equality and diversity.
I try and reflect inclusive learning in my teaching that is not about to focus on the learner
disability but on what it means for the new to have an individual learning plan. I treat all learners
fairly and equally. I must say that effective inclusive learning programme and targets for my
learners make my learning practices more efficient. I feel like that I am very good at
communicating to my learner about the own personal targets and outcomes. I am good at
communicating my thoughts to learner and help them to create their own new things so that
better practices can be undertaken.
At time, when I focus on my own inclusive practice I try and liaise with other colleagues
such as more experienced co-worker to discuss my sessions plan and teaching with them. Also, I
communicate with the learning support staff as they assist me that how to identify the individual
learner needs.
CONCLUSION
The equality and diversity become the major issue in every economy of the world.
Business needs to develop effectively by using the resources and policies to develop
equality in their organization. Report shows the teachers needs to develop team
working, engagement of students, make positive attitudes of individuals to promote
equality in an organization. Equality is important to support each other and solve

problems effectively. Reduce the social inequality in a society. To remove the barriers in
equality the teachers needs to bring effective communication with their students.
Team working helps to bring co-operation in an organization. Report shows how to
prepare strategies to develop equality in an organization. Use of agencies and special
speakers that helps an organization to develop equality. Organization teaches their
employees to adapt equality in an organization. Report shows the positive as well as
negative impact of organization over overall working. How to promote a working
environment in an organization by maintaining equality. Report shows how teachers
promote equality and diversity in learning. Equality affects overall working of an
organization and society. The development of organization and economy depends on
their working and their working depends on equality in their organization. Equality helps
to establish smooth working in an organization. Equality develop positive learning
environment.
