of the globalization there is an increase of the communication between the individuals from all
over the world as because of the globalization firms have seen various diversification regarding
their work (Bain, 2017). At the same time capitalizing and maximizing the diversity of
workplace is a crucial issues regarding management. Firms as well as their management requires
to adjust their employees withing the evolving as well as changing. Managing equality and
diversity is crucial challenge of the firm ,so the managers of the firm need to adapt the culture
that is multicultural so that various employees of the different background share their opinion.
Leadership also plays a crucial role to address the issues of the diversity within the firms as the
leadership involvement can address the various issues related to the diversity that are crucial for
the firm to have the positive influence on the behavior of the firm. The managers of the firm
must be aware about the cultural biases and also the prejudices so that they can easily accept the
change within the firm;s environment regarding the workforce (Fletcher, 2017).

Within the United Kingdom there are various firms that are legally needed to stick to
some practices to assure the discrimination that is eliminated as well as expectations of the

has helped me in gaining deep knowledge about the topic. Previously I was not aware about the
importance of equality and diversity at workplace, which now I have developed by making use
of primary and secondary research. Journal articles, research papers, blogs that are all type of
secondary research has assisted me in knowing about how equality if been promoted in
organization can help them in increasing employee engagement and also help them in increasing
their goodwill in market. I also realized that qualitative data collection method is easier to
analyses and evaluate in comparison with quantitative data. I realized that my knowledge related
to subject has been increased and I am deeply in support of following the equality in workplace.
In this I have experienced that workers become more loyal towards firm. It helps organization in
increasing commitment of workers towards them. It is beneficial for growth of firm. While
