TOPIC:- “To determine the effect of Gender pay gap on the performance of
staff members working in an organisation.” A case study on Aston Martin
Lagonda.
INTRODUCTION
In each and every organisation, managers need to adopt practices related to equality and
diversity so that employees get equal opportunities and rights. By implementing such practices
within the organisation, individuals will feel motivated and encouraged which leads to produce
best quality products and services. Along with this, in order to execute equality as well as
diversity practices, management team need to modify their strategies and policies which assist
them in accomplishing organizational goals and objectives within given time period. In the
present research, Aston Martin Lagonda is chosen as the base company. It is a British
multinational company which was established in the year 1913 and is a car manufacturing
company. Aim and objectives are developed by considering equality and diversity practices so
that researchers will conduct the whole research in an effective manner. Furthermore, it includes
description about Gantt chart, PMP and WBS which is used by investigator in order to complete
the whole research effectively. Along with this, different research methods adopted by researcher
to get positive outcomes and accomplishing the objective of research.

Research Objectives:
To know the basic concept of equality & diversity within the organization.
To identify the advantages attain by implementing equality & diversity practices for
Aston Martin Lagonda. To define various policies and strategies which help in executing equality & diversity
within Aston Martin Lagonda .

What do you know about equality & diversity within the organization? .
What are the advantages attain by implementing equality & diversity practices for Aston

Literature Review
Concept of equality and diversity at workplace
According to their view point of Boehm and Dwertmann, (2015), equality & diversity at
the workplace is a very important concept which is very helpful in promotion of equal
opportunity for all the employees at the workplace. This is a tool which is used for
minimizing the discrimination practises which fare taking place in a organisation. This
concept of equality leads to a situation of satisfaction amongst employees which has a
positive impact on enhancement of efficiency of the whole workforce in every
organisation. Every individual posse a right as well as a obligation while they are working
in a particular organisation. It is necessary that in every single organisation there are equal
number of opportunities which are being provided to the staff members which leads to a
sense of equality among them. On the other hand diversity is also a very popular concept
nowadays which has a link with advancement of opportunities for all humans working in
organisation. This is also has a relation with equal rights for every single individual
working in the organisation.

Advantages attain by implementing equality & diversity practices
According to view of Erickson and et. Al (2014) equality and diversity is a concept which
is related with large number of benefits which is very helpful for smooth functioning of
various business functions of Aston Martin Lagonda. It is also said that Aston Martin
Lagonda equality & diversity has a very important role in retaining of the staff members
for a longer period of time. Major objective of this concept is that every individual who is
working n the organisation has been provided fair opportunities and they are treated
equally in all the circumstances. This is very helpful in keeping a satisfied and a happy
workforce who will have a better contribution in attainment of organisational objectives.
This also ensures that management team of every company makes sure that each individual
is being treated fairly and in equal manner. This means that there is no probability of any
kind of discrimination which can affect organisation based on gender, age, disability, caste,
creed or any other such type of basis which can have a negative impact on the productivity
level of any employee.
Various strategies which help in executing equality & diversity at workplace.
According to the views of (Ewoh, 2013), there are large number of strategies which help
in promotion of a culture of inclusiveness and diversity in every workplace. It is also analysed
that one important aspect is the cross cultural communication which plays necessary role in the
organisation. If the management of a company is aware with culture, background and is very
concern for all the employees who are working in their organisation then it will lead to a
situation which will create a positive working environment both for employer and employees.
This has a increase contribution towards achievement of laid objectives in every organisation.
Also, when the management of a organisation is ware with background of their employees then it
becomes very easy for them to satisfy their employees as, they will be able to easily asses
requirements and demands of their employees and then satisfy them accordingly. Overll
environment of organisation plays a very important part in order to enhance efficiency of all the
staff members.

The planning of each and every activity or the blueprint of operations is referring as
project management plan. It includes several strategies which are going to implement in
this report in order to effectively perform activities. It consists of factors such as time, cost,
risk, quality, resource, scope & communication as well. These factors are described
below:
Cost: The amount which occurs in producing goods as well as services. Cost
includes such as maintenance, transportation, labour, warehouse, machinery and
many more. In this current research, there researcher require £50,000 in order to
implement and integrate activities related to research.
S cope: An important factor that assist in gaining information about real scope. It is
basically analysis of future of a product in the market. In context to present
investigation, the scope for Aston Martin is wide. Implementing this research assist
company in expanding its operation and gain high market share.
Time: The time taken to complete the activities related to research. The researcher
estimate the time of every activity and then carried out in an effective manner.
Planning of time estimation helps in attain objectives with in specified time frame.
In order to do current investigation, research worker needs around 5 months to
perform all the activities of research effectively. It helps in increasing productivity
and efficiency.
Quality: An organisation survives in the market when it provide quality product to
its customers. Quality play an important role as sometimes customer may shift to
substitutes if good quality is not offered to them. In this present research, researcher
use proper information which is generated by various sites. In addition to this,
researcher worker also used secondary data such as internet, journals, newspaper,
books and many more in order to collect information and maintain quality.
Communication: Communication is the process of exchanging ideas and thoughts
among the members of the organisation so that better understanding can be created
and developed. The flow of communication is vertical and horizontal is depending on
the type of research. Effective and proper communication is needed to perform the
activities related to research among the people. The researcher uses different medium
