INTRODUCTION
Equality and diversity are essential elements for society to develop and understand so that
there is going to be smooth functioning and satisfaction of all individuals is going to be present.
EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY
A. 9 categories in regard to equality
Age
Performance and productivity of work differs from different age group is a stereotype
which the society has.
Gender
Pre determined roles are designed according to gender of individuals (Ashe and Nazroo,
2017).
Disability
Disability has limited positions in an organization and have limited growth as well.
Pregnancy and maternity
Unfair treatment and unfavourable conditions are present for these women.
Marriage and civil partnership
Married and civil partners must not be discriminated or stopped their promotions because
of this factor.
Religion
Belief and value practice must be strong in an organization so that satisfaction of
individuals is higher.
Race
Nationality is not going to define an individual and discrimination on this aspect must not
be done.
Sexual orientation
Employee equality must be present on bases of work and nothing else.

Gender reassignment
Pressure from the society to change gender and physical characteristics to match the
mentality.
B. Define diversity
A sense of equality is essential so that involvement is present. Any kind of discrimination
must not take place.
Issues relating achievement to gender or age
Age and gender assumption makes predetermination designation be present in an
organization which is not a good factor.
Determining restricted or elaborate language codes
Different codes gets in different working environment which is not a good factor for a
long run (Attfield and Attfield, 2019).

Opportunity in employment or progression
Opportunities in employees is restricted and limited when it comes to judging individuals
on another other aspect but their work and expertise.
C. Importance to promote equality and diversity
It is essential to promote diversity and equality because that would get in a higher
working, satisfaction level and operations which are present.
Multi- cultural society
Understanding and working environment is also going to be healthier when this factor is
present in the organization.
Addressing learning or physical disabilities
This is going to make sure that all individuals are aware of their rights and know how to
behave themselves around them and treat them right (Dlanjwa,2018)

Addressing difficulties that hinder language learning and skills development

Language and skills of all individuals would be different which must be developed so that
there is going to be higher operations. Difficulties have to be analysed and make sure that there
would be better operations and working that is present.
D. Ways to promote equality and value diversity
Fair and clear rules have to be present so that there is going to be good promotion of
equality that is going to be present.
Positive attitude to individuals
Positive attitude would be present in the society which would make the working be more
effective.
Encouraging team working
Team working is also going to encourage individuals to understand each other and make
diversity and equality factor be present (García Johnson and Otto,2019).
Creating opportunities for sharing and celebrating diversity
Understanding gets in higher opportunities for all individuals which is going to make the
functioning and promotional factors be higher.

INTRODUCTION
Barriers come in learning which is being provided as well which needs to be understood
so that there are right planning and decisions which are being taken. Barriers must be overcome
which is going to be discussed in further report.

A. Factors affecting learning
Confidence
Confidence is going to stop a student or learner from questioning and asking doubts
which makes the individuals not be able to make the right knowledge be gained. Confidence has
