INTRODUCTION This is the essay which is based effective leadership which affect the team to the large extent. This easy includes the organisation name as Tesco which is the multinational retail supermarket. It isone of the leading retailers in the world. It was founded in 1919 as it is the oldest supermarket. In this report it will discuss the what is an leader and how it motivates the teammates to take part and show more interest in the team. As it will discuss that an effective leader helps to affect the teamwork as it make work in more productive way and also it increases the result of the organisation. MAIN BODY Effective Leadership affect Teamwork The leadership affect teamwork as the effective leadership strategies promote teamworkas democratic leadershipconsider to be one of the most effective leadership style as it include all team members. As Tesco leaders are very effective they direct and influence people to work in the effective manner. They value the opinion of the team members and value their decision making process. By these employees will consider themselves an important part of the organisation and work harder to achieve the goals of Tesco. Also, the effective leadership affect team member as they praise general team success and also individual success which promote a grater unity among team member. If member do not get recognition it will affect their behaviour and their efforts and also they can discourage from the rest of the team. In effective leadership and promote teamwork it is important to give appropriate and deserved recognition to their team member. It is important for the leader to create an environment where there is free communication and all the aspects of communication are encourages. Leaders ensurethat employees have a clear communication. Also, effective leadership affect the teamwork to the large extent as it motivates the employees to work in the team and also it has the fewer chances of conflict in the team as it solve all the conflict that are arisen in the team (Herdman, Yang and Arthur, 2017).There are many leadership theories and style which makes an organisation and its team very effective one. The first leadership theory is situational leadership theory in which the decision are depend upon the situation to situation. It is the simpler style and also it is very flexible as it is depend upon the organisation circumstances. in this theory the team will affect to the large extent as there will be no rigid rule or regulation and all the things are depend upon situation to situation. The second theory is system leadership theory in this theory it has proper rules and regulation. And also it is very complex in nature and design in the systematic manner. And the leader and the subordinate should follow the rules in the proper way. This leadership theory is little hard to understand as it is very rigid in nature. The third and last leadership theory is that contingency theory in which it states that there is no best way to deal with the given situation. The leader can use its own method to solve the problem in the organisation. It is one of the most effective leadership theories which help the organisation to achieve its goals and objective. It is one of the most simple and easy to use theory and Tesco leader use this type of theory which helps them to make effective team and also to influence the people in the right manner .as effective leadership is one of the most important element in the teamwork and also it affect
the team to the large extent. Effective leadership helps the employees to motivate them to take part in the organisation decision making and also encourage them to give their innovative idea and creative skills to improve the decision making of the Tesco. So that they feel an important part in the organisation. And more willing to work as a team. Effective leader always give recognition and apretiate the work of the employees so that the employees become more effective and become more loyal and committed towards the organisation goals and objective. Effective leadership communicate to the team in the effective and efficient way so that employees are very clear with the responsibility in the organisation. And also it is important for the leader to solve and manage the conflict among the people so that it create harmony in the organisation and the employees work in the friendly manner in the team. And by the effective leadership employees show more interest in the team and also trust the team members. So effective leader affect the team work to the large extent. CONCLUSION The above study is an essay which based on the effective leadership affect the team work .as leader are the person who leads ,inspire and directs the team to achieve the organisation goals and objective of the company. As leadership helps the employees to influence them to work in the team and it helps to increase the productivity of the companypractices which is used by the organisation. It is also concluded that leaders play an important role in the team work as it makes many efforts and take many measures to improve the performances of the team. And also it encourage employees to participate in the decision making process so that it will helps to motivate the employees and become very loyal and committed towards the organisation success.
