The two most common ways of giving feedback to learners includes descriptive and
evaluative feedback. Descriptive feedback is provided by a Eyelash technician to improve
learning by indicating to the learner what they needs to improve while Evaluative feedback is
used to measure learners achievements with the help of a score or a grade. Further, use of a
formal written feedback is made when Eyelash Technician wants a proof of work and descriptive
way of feedback is made. On contrary, verbal feedback is used to provide better guidance and
explain the areas of improvement in a more effective way. Use of verbal feedback is better as it
reduce the chances of misconception and also facilitates better communication (Henry, Hill and
Leitch, 2017). Teaching can be in two ways formal as well as informal. As formal/ professionals
person who is in teaching process guides learners in a formal way that means they are highly
expertise and skilled person. Whereas informal teaching occurs that can be done by anyone
based upon knowledge and relationship. Learners behaviour is different in both formal as well as
informal way. Different behaviour and outcomes of people depends upon individual perception.
Thus, a teaching process should be considered as map which gives direction in individual's life

Keeping records of assessment of learning is beneficial for both learner and assessor as it
provide documents and records for evaluation of performance and reassess the activity in future.
This, also facilitates a record that helps in analysis regarding which learner needs more help and
guidance and facilitates better understanding about what learners actually needs to improve their
performance in future. Copies of certificates and observations reports provide an additional proof
of learning in case of learner loses their certificates. These assessments help in revising the older
information as well as guidance. Brainstorming can also be used as effective assessment tool
because it assist in making brain and basis of learning strong. Records in learning also assist both
the party teachers as well as learners to re-access the knowledge that was shared and learned. So,
it helps them to improve their basics more strong and guides them that where they have ton
improve.
4.2 Summarise the requirements for keeping records of assessment in an organisation
Keeping records of assessment is useful for both assessor and learner but their are some
legislative requirements that should be meet by an organisation before keeping such records.
According to the provisions of Data protection act, 1998, personal data acquired by any
organisation should be processed and stored lawfully and the data should be obtained only for
specified and lawful purpose. Beside this, Personal data acquired should be adequate, relevant
and not excessive in relation to the purpose for which it has been processed and acquired by the
organisation (Abele and et. al., 2015). A proper record of learning and teaching assist in
improving the skills and knowledge of both the party. Formal and informal teaching both are
required to maintain and keeps the record with them so that whenever there is need of older
information, they have access and sources to get that knowledge as well as data. It makes them
aware about their previous and current progress of knowledge. Moreover, maintaining records
also act as backup and which can be used by other learner also. So, it is essential to properly
maintain and keep the records in for teachers as well as learner both.

Thus, it is concluded from the essay above, that education and training are crucial and
imperative in context of enhancing the scope of improvement within the current competencies of
individuals pursuing a specific job role. It is imperative to get an insight upon understanding the
teaching roles and responsibilities, along with maintaining a safe environment with healthy
