INTRODUCTIONTravel and tourism is the sector whose contribution in the total economy has raised to a greatlevel. Therefore there is need to understand how this sector works, what all laws are formulatedfor development of this industries. Following report is prepared in order to understand thevarious ethics and laws that are related to the tourism sector. In this report different laws arediscussed in detail which need to be consider while doing the operations of this business(Dickinson and Lumsdon,2010). In the following report the importance of the different laws arealso discussed in detail which help the learner to understand how these law operates and howthey provide benefit to the client and also to the management. Apart from this differentchallenges are also discussed in detail which are faced by the tourism sector in the present time.TASK 1Covered in PPTTASK 22.1 Impacts of the principles of health, safety and security legislationFor TUI it is very important to maintain the health, security and safety of the peopleusing their services. The security and safety of the clients as well as of the employees which areworking with the cited company need to be maintained so that it can continue in this business.Through these legislations the security is maintained that weather the staff is working in the safeenvironment or not. The operations are checked which take place in this industry as it deals withthe operations which involve risk also. Legislations in the tourism sector states that theemployees should be provided with required training so that they can carry out their routinetask in more effective manner and without creating any harm to themselves. As in TUI peoplecome across equipments which may harm them they need to be made aware about its usage sothat accidents can be minimised. The employees are trained as how to react at the time ofemergencies so that they can reduce the rick of the uncertainties (Turner,2011). All the workersand clients need to be given equal right against safety and no discrimination on the basis ofstatus, caste or creed should be done. In order to avoid the emergency situation like fire it isimportant that the employees are trained to use the equipments like fire extinguisher so that theycan take the precautionary actions on the spot.
