This research proposal aims to evaluate the contribution of social media networking on the development of an eco-friendly environment in the hospitality industry, specifically at London Marriott hotel Regents Park. The research will review the concept of eco-friendly in the industry, assess the challenges facing social media networking, investigate the impact of social media networking, evaluate its contribution, and recommend appropriate strategies. The research questions will focus on the challenges, impact, and contribution of social media networking on the development of an eco-friendly environment. The rationale for the study is to identify the interest and importance of social media networks in promoting an eco-friendly environment in hotels. The research will use interpretivism philosophy, deductive research approach, qualitative research design, and simple random sampling. Data will be gathered through interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis.
