INTRODUCTION
Reflection refers to as type of writing wherein the writer in its own terms write what it
has learnt by doing anything. It is a form in which the writer try to share its feelings, thoughts
and experiences in its own terms only (Graham, Walton and Ward, 2019). The present report will
outline a reflective report on the role of leader and helper in helping others. Also, it will discuss a
career and a personal development plan for the person.
TASK 1
Task 1A
Reflective witting can be understood as a tool which is used by the writer in order to share its
experience with other in its own words. With help of reflection the person writing can describe
any real incident or any experience of itself which can help other in solving there problem by
reading the reflection. Using reflective writing there are many benefits as it provide an insight
and brief idea to the reader of the reflection to understand the concept easily. For writing a
reflection Gibbs model is very helpful which is explained in the following points-
Gibbs Six stage model
Description- it is the first stage of Gibbs reflective model within which the whole
scenario is discussed and described in this stage. In the present case which outlines the role of a
commander states that on the basis of some test conducted by him founded some results which
are discussed in this point (Gilbert, Foulk and Bono, 2017). The person in lecture 7 prepared a
video for a project and was very nervous in giving the presentation in front of many people. But
then also we tried to give the presentation and after the presentation we had to redo it. Again in
next lecture that is lecture 8 we had to give the presentation again, and we all were a bit nervous.
I also found that many people were trying to interrupt my work which affected my efficiency of
working. But at last I was able to give the presentation successfully.
Many tests like DISC model, Belbin team roles, dimensions of leadership, enneagram
and many more were studied (Cunliffe and Easterby - Smith, 2017). The results of these tests are
very helpful in developing my personality. The results of these test are like in DISC model I got
dominance with 39 %. In the test of how reflective I am I scored 45. Similarly, in 8 dimensions
of leadership I was suggested that I am use diplomat style of leadership. Further, according to
Belbin team role I was driver who is very energetic and ambitious and a strong motivator. At last
in enneagram personality test I was awarded with the personality type of helper who loves to

according to my requirement and directions.
In next week I evaluated that after the group discussion I felt a little depressed because
after meeting we found that were a lot of timing and planning issues and also there was a
confusion that whether I am going correct or not.

of the results found in evaluation. With the help of EVER DISC Personality report it was found
that this test is an indication of finding a unique personality which a person possesses. In the

method are dominance, influence, steadiness and compliance. Out of all the four elements the
factor dominance is more in me that is 39 %. The dominance factor outlines the way I deal with
difficulties and problems and how well I can dominate others in different business situations. I
am good at dominating others and their behaviour towards accomplishing any objective or
fulfilment of any group activity or task.
But in week 7 the group made a video presentation highlighting the whole project and
there I analysed that panicking is not the solution. This I learnt in from experience of week 7 and
this made me a little more confident and relaxed. Also after the analysis of the week 8 I learnt
that how to face public and how to speak in public and also I learnt how to deal with people who
are annoying and always disturbing.
Conclusion- it is the stage of the model where it is concluded and interpreted all the facts
that have been studied and highlighted in the whole report. With the help of conclusion I was

Action plan- in the end the last step of Gibbs reflective cycle is outlining an action plan
which can help me in developing my weaknesses and bad habits. The first thing which I need to
do is to overcome my weakness which is driving the behaviour of others. This needs to be
improved because of the reason that though I am dominating, but I am not much capable of
driving and influencing others to work according to me. So this needs to be improved and for this
I need to work on my interpersonal skills and the communication skills so that I can fluently
communicate with other people so that they get attracted towards me and gets influenced b my
saying.
Another thing which I need to improve is some skills of reflective writing. The score of
reflective writing was 45 which I need to raise it to at least 70. So for it I need to take some
corrective measures (Van Wart and Denhardt, 2019). For improving my reflective skills first I
need to increase my reading skills and need to work on vocabulary and build an insight on
enhancing my English and writing skills. Also, for this I need to improve my written
communication skills and need to read as much as article which I can read.
Strength
The major strength was that I am very
