Emotional intelligence is the ability of the people in identifying the emotions and other

skills of calming down and considering measures of the activities and maintain my existence.

Weaknesses found based on the survey:
Lack of ability to judge my feelings is a drawback here. I have been labelling my feelings
with positive or negative tags. This leads to losing the capability to understand them and become
aware of them. As I have been trying to label the feelings to be bad and good, I become unable to
lose my ability to be aware of that and regard that (Petrides et al. 2016). This is the nature of human
beings to judge various things and distinguish that into two distinct categories. However, this s
counterproductive.
Understanding possible improvements:
First of all, I should be rating myself. This will be helpful for me to understand my strengths.
Next, others must be asked about feedbacks. I should be open to hearing what other people have
been thinking about myself. Next, a formal analysis test must be completed. This must be including
the personality test, finding the values, abilities and skills (Mayer, Caruso and Salovey 2016). Apart
from this, various competencies that are related to by self-evaluation must include emotional self-
awareness. This is to determine the emotion and effects on life. Instead of that, accurate self-analysis
should be one. This is to recognize the limitations and strengths. Lastly, the self-confidence must be
boosted to understand the capabilities and self-worth.

It is seen that one of the best competencies, as per emotional intelligence is considered, is the
best predictor of overall workplace performance. This can be regarded as the strongest driver of
excellence and leadership. To develop effective trust in a relationship at the global business arena,
the rise of suitable use of EI is essential. The underestimation of the significance of emotions process
and feelings at the workplace is often seen. Hence, it is vital to analyze the professional relationship
with the clients. They must be influenced highly by the entire emotional state and the awareness of
that (Sánchez-Álvarez, Extremera and Fernández-Berrocal 2016).
Various internal relations at any business, with the team members and colleagues, have been
highly vital. Different expert in this area suggests that the overall quality of the relationships helps in
finding the business success of the business.
