Events and entertainment management is defined as the practical knowledge, which helps
in managing the projects effectively and efficiently. Events and entertainment management helps
in creating the events like music festivals, weddings, conferences, ceremonies and many more
like them. Event planning now a days is very important as everyone needs that their event will
run smoothly and all the stress and activities are run by the management company. The event are
held for creating awareness or for expanding a particular business (Arapostathis, 2021). The
event described in this report is Isle of Wight Festival, which is a British music festival. The
music festival takes place every year annually in Newport on Isle of Wight, England. The report
is having two elements, the first element is the analysis of the event and the entertainment
industry. Further in this project, event proposal is provided which helps in evaluating the aims
and objectives of the event. Along with aims the project is also analysing the marketing trends
which will help in achieving success of the event.

The sector chosen in this report in which the event is hosted is hospitality industry.

many more. Hospitality is a broad sector in the service industry which is engaged in organizing
several type of economic activities like travel and tourism, theme parks, event planning and
many more. The main aim of the hospitality industry is to satisfy the customers with their
services and experiences. This industry is providing the primary services which are related in
providing food and accommodation services at the places like amusement parks, hotels, resorts
and conferences etc. The industry is concerned in welcoming the customers as well as looking
for the primary needs of the potential as well as existing customers. The main focus of the
hospitality industry is to provide customer services and give them enjoyable experiences which
they can cherish forever.
