INTRODUCTIONIn the present scenario, there are various types of business available that runs or operatedfor getting best possible outcomes. It can be said that different sector or industries are existswhich contributes more in the economy development. One the most important sector ishospitality industry which are growing fasts in the marketplace. There must be required toconsider better environment, good relationship so manager or leaders play an important role inrunning business operations in more effective manner (Alexander, 2013). This report is based onAvis Hotel which is facing lots of problems such as lower customer satisfaction, low occupancyrate and customer retention etc. therefore, it is necessary to perform various roles orresponsibilities by manager for getting success. This assignment will assess the responsibilitiesof manager and operational aspects for building brand image. It also consider the facilitiesoperations and funding agencies as well. TASK 11.1 Assess the responsibilities of the facilities manager for staff engagementThe hospitality industry is growing fast so it is difficult to grasp in present time and alsoperform several tasks so it is necessary to make better strategies and favorable decisions toachieve predetermined goals or objectives. Manager should have better knowledge, skills andabilities to manage the business performance and make hotel functions more smooth andeffective so that they can achieve set goals in better ways (Krajewski, 2015). Manager requires toprovide effective training and development programs so that productivity can be enhanced. Theirmains role is to allot task among employees and provide various available resources so that theycan perform entire performance in well manner. Facilities manager is a person who takeresponsibility in management and overall charges in particular Hotel. Here are defined variousresponsibilities of facilities manager towards staff members such as:Smooth operations and management: The manager has requires to ensure aboutadequate staff member and also appoint them in Avis hotel. He must be sure that allavailable resources are divided and used for getting success such as financial,operational, and human resources with proper allocation among several activities inmore effective manner. The major responsibility is to resolve grievances and problemsduring running business for making smooth. 1
