RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research methodology is considered as the methods and processes which are being used
within research for the purpose of attaining research results. Research methodology is that
specific procedures and techniques which are used for the purpose of identifying and analysing
information related with research topic. These are the methods which hold higher degree of
importance as this could lead the researcher in reaching out to the conclusion and to attain
overall research objectives (Byrd, 2020). The current research is based on fast fashion industry
and its trends which are to be exerted in the year of 2024. The report is also showing aspects
related to different fashion within political, social, environment, economic, technological and
legal factors in terms of fashion industry of UK. Using such factors all the dimensions within
fashion industry can be analysed so that information can be gathered related with research topic.
There are two types of research methodologies such as primary and secondary that can
be used within research in order to manage overall research aspects (Mays and Pope, 2020).
Primary research is related with using raw information within the research so that accuracy
within the research can be developed. Whereas secondary research methods are related with
using already gathered information within research so that reliability within the research can be
enhanced. There are various methods within primary research such as survey, interview, focus
group, observation, experiments and many others (Carter and et. al., 2021). Whereas in
secondary research methodologies news, bought research, already collected data and dataset
owned by other parties can be used. For the current research the researcher will use secondary
research methodologies will be used in which researcher has selected to use already collected
data. Using this method the researcher will be able to analyse future fashion trends and
perspective of different authors on the topic.
