Effect of Religious Discrimination in Manufacturing Industry: A Case Study of Aston Martin_1
Executive Summary
Main purpose of this research is to analysis the effect of religious discrimination over
growth of manufacturing industry. To attain this purpose or aim, number of tasks were
completed by investigator. Literature review was completed through researcher by using various
sources of secondary data including magazines, books, articles etc. With the help of these
sources, authors have to provided their opinion about the topic. This section supported
investigator in fulfilment of research gap by using research questions. Research methodology
activity was completed by using deductive approach, questionnaire, positivism philosophy,
cross-sectional time horizon etc. These are effective for researcher because this supported by
providing actual and quantitative information in minimum time. By using questionnaire,
researcher can easily attain research outcomes and accomplished research aim and objectives.
Discussion was done by interpreting primary and secondary information. Conclusion and
recommendation helped investigator in summarising entire data systematically. As it supported
investigator in achievement of research aim and objectives. Reflection was done by describing
journey of researcher and effectiveness of research methods in attainment of aim and objectives
of the current investigation.

Methodology
Research methodology is important section of research project as it help instigator in
gathering, analysing, evaluating and interpreting information about the existing topic (Wilkins
and et. al., 2019). There are some essential methods that will be used for conducting primary as
well as secondary information regarding the topic. These methods will be explained as below:
Research philosophy: This is important for researcher because it facilitate them in data
collection and data analysis. There are two types of research philosophies including positivism
and interpretivisim. These are effective but for carrying out this study over the religious
discrimination, positivism philosophy has been selected because it support them in gathering as
well as analysing of quantitative data in less time. Interpretivisim philosophy is not valuable for
carrying out this investigation because it takes more time in collection and analysation of
qualitative data (Atiyas, Bakis and Gürakar, 2019).
Research approach: This part of methodology facilitate investigator in analysing of
qualitative and quantitative information through inductive and deductive approach. Deductive
approach of study is useful in analysing of quantitative data, whereas inductive approach is
valuable in evaluating of qualitative data. For performing present study on religious based
discrimination, deductive approach is suitable because it facilitate researcher while analysing of
quantitative in set time period (Bagley and Abubaker, 2017). Inductive approach of study is not
valuable within an investigation because it require data in for of qualitative that results in higher
time.
Research strategies: This is an essential section of methodology that helps researcher in
data collection from different strategies including action research, experimental, systematic
literature review, survey etc. These are consider main types of research strategies but for
gathering information regarding the religious discrimination, survey and systematic literature
review are best strategies. Survey will be used for collecting primary information, whereas
systematic literature review is using for gathering secondary data. These are best strategies
within an investigation because its support investigator in attainment of research aim and
objectives (Beckford, 2019).
Research choice: There are basically three choice of research including mono, mixed and
multi-mixed. There are essential but for executing present investigation, mono choice is the best
choice because it helps in collection of only one type of data which is known as qualitative or

quantitative. Quantitative study under mono choice has been selected by investigator. Main
purpose for using quantitative research as it facilitate investigator in collection of numerical
information within given time period. Qualitative choice under mono method is not useful
because it needs maximum time and not provide data in numbers.
Time horizon: There are two types of time horizon which are cross-sectional and also
longitudinal. These are main approaches but for executing current research, cross-sectional
approach of time is useful because it support investigator in research completion within given
time period. Longitudinal approach of time is not useful because it takes maximum time in
completion of each activity of study (Cai,Kim, Li and Pan, 2019).
Data collection and data analysis: There are two types of data collection methods
including primary and secondary. Both methods will be used within an investigation within
purpose of achieving research aim and objectives. Questionnaire will be used as a primary data
collection method. This method helps investigator in gathering of reliable data regarding the
topic. In case of secondary method, there will be requirement of using secondary sources such as
magazines, books, journals, publication research and many other sources. Therefore, for doing
this investigation both primary and secondary sources are useful. Along with this, frequency
distribution analysis as an analytical technique will be used by investigator for analysing
quantitative or primary information about the topic (Dale-Olsen and Finseraas, 2020). Main
reason behind using such type of analytical tool as it not takes more time and also provide valid
outcomes.
Research instruments: This section of methodology is used for gathering data from
number of research instruments which are interview, observation, questionnaire, modelling,
focus group etc. These instruments are effective in gathering of primary or first-hand information
effectively. In order to collect primary information regarding the religious discrimination,
questionnaire is useful instrument that will be used within an investigation. There are different
advantages of questionnaire that will be essential for carrying out this research including
inexpensive, practical, easy analysis and visualisation, offer actionable data etc. These are also
consider main reasons for using questionnaire instrument in this study (Dary and James Jr,
2018).
Research ethics: Ethics are important in completion of full research project. There are
some useful principles or values of ethics that will be used within an investigation. These

principles are; protect confidentiality and anonymity, minimise the risk of harm to participants,
obtain informed from potential research respondents, avoid using deceptive practices, provide
participants the right to withdraw etc. All these principles must be use by researcher while doing
this investigation. These will support researcher in completion of full project systematically as
well as ethically (Elo and Volovelsky, 2017).
Research reliability and validity: This is essential for investigator because it support
them in testing of validity and reliability of the study. Questionnaire is a test instrument that will
be applied by investigator. This will support researcher in gathering of valid and reliable data in
less time (Xie and Peng, 2018).
