The sectors have benefitted from the growth and frequent set up of several gourmet bakeries, fancy restaurants, and fast food franchises. The peak of sales of fast food is realized during the weekend when most of the youth are out shopping. These are the days that they are not busy in schools or in the workplaces. The target market is both the male and female young earning medium incomes and those in high schools or colleges. Market segmentation The target primary consumers are the youth aged between 18 years to 35 years old. It has been observed that most of the schoolers in Karachi, especially in Zanzama, love eating inside fast food in Malls. The secondary market for the business is the tourists who visit the town of occasional basis.
