Aims at the long-term growth of communities
The organization choses staff from their country of

of living (FH.org, 2020).
The organization operates globally.

and sister by directing to the opportunities and

This organization was chosen due to its approach of
working collaboratively with local leaders and
contributions from professional, which frames a
better solution for communities with diverse culture
and needs.
The most significant features of the organization,
that appeals to my profession of nursing is the
focus at the exit plan, which includes the approach
of healing the communities and the approach of
collaboration by including local skilled
professionals.
A Just Global Community

According to Catholic Social Thought, if each individual
possess sufficient accessibility to resources and goods in a
society, which can help in the fulfilment of lives easily
and completely is known as Common Good. The principles
of Catholic Social Thought includes, dignity, common
good, solidarity, participation and subsidiarity, economic
justice, preferential opportunities, promoting peace and
stewardship of creation (Caritas.org.au, 2020).
Just global community depicts the state where all the
communities in the world experiences opportunities for
fulfilling their lives (Kohli & Agarwala, 2017).
The NFP organization have majorly contributed to the
common good for people to construct a just community
environment with their collaborative approach for
instance:
Provision for primary health for refugees in Bangladesh:
This project partnered with the Medical Teams
International for improving overall status of health of the
Rohingya people, especially for children under five and
women (FH.org, 2020).
Project of family violence in Peru: This project prevented
family violence by strengthening and promoting positive
parenting guidelines (FH.org, 2020).
Strengthening livelihoods for refugees in Uganda: The
project aimed at the sustainable livelihood of refugees’
security concerns by elevating market access and
sustainable way of crop production (FH.org, 2020).
Your Professional Contribution
(Nursing)
Constructing a just community is important for
the purpose of availing equal distribution of
opportunities for an overall developed
economy and well-being.
Being in the profession of nursing I can
positively contribute to the development of
this organization by:
Reflecting empathic approach of handling
community concerns and needs
Promoting the service offerings and assisting
with localized medical solutions
Educating community members by spreading
knowledge regarding causes and preventive
measures
I can tag along with the staff members to
project a buddy approach for each community
member in understanding and recommending
responses to their day-to-day concerns.
I can help the identified communities with the
maintenance of sanitary habits for overall well-
being.
