CONTAMINATION OF FOOD

INTRODUCTION
Food contamination is the complex subject which refers to food
where presence of harmful chemicals and microorganisms get
found. This is the type of contamination in food which cause illness
among consumers. There are two type of food contamination which
include:
Physical contamination
Chemical contamination

CHEMICAL CONTAMINATION
This is refers to the type of food which get contaminated with some
type of chemical substance.
Chemical used in kitchen for cleaning equipment's and other than
this are chemical which naturally found under some foods like
toxin in fish etc.
For example:
Cleaning agent used in Kitchen
food containers that are made of low quality plastics
using fruits and vegetables that are unwashed etc.

LIST AND CONTROL REQUIRE
PREVENTING
Store chemical away from preparation of food
Use handle food equipment
Use readable manufacturers label
