Literature review
According to the view point of Damanik, Situmorang and Dewi (2021) organizational
culture refers to the values, beliefs and actions which guides action of employees. In the context
of business unit, effectual culture is highly required for getting desired level of outcome or
success. Ugheoke (2021) presented in their study that organizational culture implies for the
system or policies followed by personnel while performing business activities and functions. On
the basis of Handy’s model, there are four types of culture which exist within an organization
such as power, role, task and person. Algawazi, Bambang and Sahrin (2021) stated in their study
that effective organizational culture positively affects business performance by enhancing both
productivity and profitability. As, sound organizational culture fosters teamwork and thereby
facilitates streamlined workplace. In this way, by placing emphasis on interaction among
employee’s company can create teams and thereby fulfills objectives. However, on the critical
note, Soares, Indiyati and Ghina (2021) entailed that when business unit too much emphasizes
on cultural aspects then it may result into deviation from objectives. The rationale behind this,
sometimes firm introduces new value which causes employee’s failure in the achievement of
same and thereby demotivation.

In accordance with Saad and Abbas (2018), job satisfaction exhibits the extent to which
current working environment is fulfilling the need of employees. In service industry, employees
play a vital role in evolving satisfaction among customers by providing high quality services.
Thus, it is an accountability of management to develop competent plan for the growth of
personnel. By this, firm can develop high level of satisfaction among them and thereby retain as
well. Kang (2018) investigated that right organizational culture motivates personnel to come up
with innovative ideas which makes contribution in the achievement of organizational goals.
Along with this, employees feel more satisfied and encouraged to give their efforts when they
are provided with some authorities for decision making. On the contradictory note, Hendrato and
Subyantoro (2021) entailed that strict policies negatively impacts employee motivation.
Moreover, now employees prefer to work with organization which conducts sessions or training
program for their growth and development. In addition to this, employees want that they have
power of decision making related to work aspects. Hence, employee’s motivation regarding job
is affected negatively in the lack of having such aspects. Putra and et.al., (2020) assessed that
good organizational culture reduces the changes of conflict within team to the significant level.
Accordingly, when manager ensures balance between power, belief & value then it results into
high job satisfaction among employees. PAAIS and PATTIRUHU (2020) argued that when
company discriminates personnel on the basis of age, gender, race etc then motivation of
personnel affected negatively. Thus, for evolving satiation among personnel towards personnel
and improving their performance company is required to create positive culture.
