INTRODUCTION
Background of the study
Retail sector is growing with the rapid speed and offering the number of employment
opportunities. The global retail sector is expected to grow at CAGR of 7.7% which indicates that
there are number of opportunities which can be derived by the firm operating at the international
level become successful. In the current era of retail sector at the international level it is
important for the organization to pay attention on having the relevant understanding of the
factors affecting its growth. Diversity management is related with having the procedure of
creating working environment that is both inclusive and diverse which allow organization to
have unique form of people so that accomplishing the objective of attaining success can become
possible. It play crucial role in gaining the ability to coordinate with the changing circumstances
in turn accomplishing the organizational objective of sustainability and profitability can become
possible. The present study is based on TESCO which is one of the international firm operating
in the retail sector for offering groceries, clothing, etc. products. Current investigation will
emphasize on using qualitative research type and thematic analysis for ascertaining role of
diversity management at international level with retail sector.

The main aim of the current investigation is to ascertain contribution of diversity
management in managing employees at international level within TESCO

To Recommend the strategies pertaining to improvement for diversity management

Rationale
The main reason behind conducting the research on ascertaining role of diversity
management for employee management at the international level with in retail sector so that
crucial aspects for coordinating with changing circumstances can become possible. The current
study will TESCO to get the understanding about the role of diversity management so that
significant information to operate at international level can become possible. There are various
aspects that affect the diversity management of the organization which comprises ethnicity,
culture, policies, structure, attitude of people, etc. For gaining the success it is important for the
organization to focus on having the relevant understanding so that crucial actions for
improvement can be exerted. It allows getting greater competitiveness such as higher
profitability, productivity, innovation, etc. that aids in performing effectively at international
level.
Significance of the study
Diversity management is concerned with gaining the ability in the organization which
can provide assistance to workforce to align business culture so that greater stratification of
customer by improving employee interactions can become possible. The current study will be
helpful for TESCO to get insights bout the role of diversity management at international level so
that corrective results to get desirable position in retail sector can be derived. The study will be
helpful for the other companies operating in retail industry so that accomplishing organizational
