INTRODUCTION
Globalisation is an effective process which is considered with the free movement of
people, companies and government worldwide and lead to the interconnectedness of the national
economies. Therefore, in order to sustain in this competitive world, it is crucial for the business
enterprises to attract and retain the prospective candidates so as to achieve higher profitability
and productivity. Chosen organisation for the assignment is Vestey group which is the world
largest food provider firm that offers wide variety of products so as to meet the demand of
different customer segments. This project will focus in the functions of HR which are
recruitment, selection and training (ajda, 2015). Therefore, it is the responsibility of HR manager
within the organisation to conduct these functions for enchant large no. of clients and attains
maximum growth and success of the business organisation. Therefore, this HR helps in
increasing productivity and thereby introducing labour turnover within the organisation. This
project will carry out the aims and objectives and describes the project management plan. It also
produces a work breakdown structure and Gantt Chart to illustrate the period of wind up of
project. It also analyses the data in a proper manner so as to draw valid conclusions and
recommendations.
TASK 1
P1:
According to Audra Bianca, (2019). Human Resource Management is considered with
the process of attracting, short-listing and retaining the prospective clients within the
organisation for a long time period. Therefore, HRM plays an important role within the
organisation discussed as follows. It assists in maintaining employee’s relations at the
workforces as reduces issues and conflicts and thereby creates harmonious environment at the
workplace. It increases the skills and capabilities of the employees by providing them with
proper training and developmental facilities which would assist them to work effectively and
meet the global requirements. Moreover, it helps the organisation to attract qualified workforce
by properly conducting the selection test and therefore maintain growth and success of
organisation. Therefore, it will help the business organisations to meet the international standards
of HRM as by retaining the talent workforce and supply T&D to Personnel it will assist the
organisation towards fulfil global requirements (Ariely, 2012).

Aim- “How does the large multinational organisations can enhance their recruitment,
selection and training of their personnel in order to meet the global requirements”. A case study
on Vestey group. In present scenario most of the organisation are performing their operations at
multinational level. Therefore, Vestey group is focusing on achieving their goal in specified
period. So they aim to increase their performance through increasing capability of employee's.
Objectives-
To implement internal as well as external recruitment methods to improve the fairness to
meet international standards of HRM.
To evaluate both internal and external training methods to increase capabilities of
workforce to assist Vestey group in meeting global needs.
To identify the problems or challenges that may come in the process of implementing HR
practices to meet international requirements.
To determine practices through which recruitment, selection and training process at
Vestey group can be developed. The main aim to complete their work is to raise standard
at global level.
P2:
Projection is an activity which needs to be completed and accomplished in pre-
determined time frame. Executing and completing the project activities within a time frame has
high importance as it helps the manager to clear focus on the goals and objectives of the
company by working on the proper plan towards attaining strategic goals. Therefore, it also assist
the manager to analyse the data and draw valid conclusions and recommendations and necessary
changes can be made so as perform business activities in systematic way. Various essential
feature of project management plan includes-
Scope- It is considered as opportunity which the researcher or the project will get while
performing the research activities. From the perspective of the researcher, it has a wide
scope as it will enhance the knowledge of the investigator towards the importance and the
role of HR within the organisation. Therefore, it enhances the scope of the investigator to
meet the project requirements in a better manner (Burns, 2017).
Cost- It is a value of money that has been used up in delivering a project or a service in a
proper manner. In order to carry out company’s project to conduct recruitment, selection
and training programs £ 46,000 will be required to incur. On the other hand, estimated

Quality- It is the degree to which the project meets the obligation of the manager to
apply project action in a systematic way. This assist the researcher to collect and
determine data using qualitative methods of data collection by conducting surveys so as
to get quality data and fulfils the research activities in a proper manner.

Communication- It is the act of conveying and exchanging information between two or
more people using different mediums. Therefore, it is the necessary for the researcher to
communicate with the clients and customers through emails and telephone and therefore
project manager should also communicate to the stakeholders of the project regarding any
changes or any other information towards the project (Carayannis, Sindakis and Walter,
2015).
Risk- It is a situation which causes exposure of danger towards the project. While
conducting the research investigator faces the risk of shortage of time and resources
towards collecting the appropriate information. Moreover, this will result towards not
fulfilling the research requirements and therefore leads to difficulty in completing the
task.
Resources- It is refereed to proper amount of assets, tool and technology for completing
the research activities in a proper way. Therefore, as a way to finish the project researcher
requires higher experience, skills and capabilities and different equipments such as proper
access to the internet so as to get proper information towards finishing the project.

Work Break Down Structure- It is a deliverable oriented breakdown constitution of the
project which divides the whole project into tiny factors and form tasks of group of people in
directed components. Vestey group uses this tool to properly enhance the functioning of HR
practices within the organisation.

From the above diagram of WBS it has been analysed that while enhancing recruitment,
selection and training of worker. That way project is divided into various components such as
first aims and objectives will be develop for the project along with the literature review. Then
researcher will collect the data through primary data in the form of survey and secondary data in
the form of writing and books. After wars it leads to proper analysis of data so as to draw proper
conclusion and recommendations and suggest on one's own reflection so as to determine the
challenges and the positive things learned from the project (Carkhuff, 2017).
Gantt Chart- It is a graphical tool that illustrates the project schedule with the help of
the bar chart. It provides information about the project components that necessarily to be
executed and absolute the projection activities within a proper time frame. This has a higher
importance as it will help the researcher to set standard time for each project component and
thereby motivates the employees to complete it within the specific time span.

described as follows-
Primary method of data collection- Under this tool information should be gathered by
the investigator for primarily so as to gain potential outcomes of investigation. Here data
can be collected through interviews, and questionnaire method. This type of collection
collected helps the researcher to get better results and draw better recommendations
towards the project and lead to success of the research (Coker, 2014).
Quantitative research – By this tool information should be accomplished by focusing
on the facts and figures as well as numerical and statistical information is collected and
determined. This has importance to project as it will help the researcher to determine and
analysis of the data can be done within a a short period of time and valid results can be
interpreted-
Questionnaire- It is a research instrument which consist a series of questions in which
respondents opinions are considered for gathering the necessary information.
Random Sampling method- It is a sampling method in which subset of the individuals
are chosen from the larger set.
Qualitative research - Under this method of information assemblage, information is collected
towards concerning underlying reasons and behaviour of the individuals. It is an exploratory
method acting of data grouping in which individuals opinions, views and suggestions are
concerned. This data collection method has higher importance to the project as conducting in-
depth study will provide the researcher about the knowledge of the views of the individuals and
helps in determining results in a proper manner.
Interview- It is a conversion between the client and the manger in which set of questions
are asked to the client so as to judge its knowledge as well as draw necessary information
which would help in managing the research activities at Vestey group in a proper manner.
Purposeful sampling- It is a sampling method which is used in qualitative research for
the proper identification and selection of individuals or the samples which have high

interest towards the topic of the research. This helps in drawing valid information
(Kannan, 2018).
Hence for owed and analyse the content in a proper manner secondary data of collection
has also been used in the form of getting data from various journals and published surveys which
provides a proper support to the primary research and therefore assist in completing the research

group faces problem to properly recruit and select the employees. Apart from these 10
respondents believe that when the organisation has less time to recruit and select the candidate it
will create problem for the firm to attract and retain the prospective clients.

From the above project it has been concluded that organisation should properly

determine my strength and weakness. It also helped me to improve my weaker areas such as lack
of analytical skills creates problem and difficulty for me to understand and solve the complex
activities. This skill could be develop by giving proper time to the problem and determining
alternative solution for the same and determine the effective decision. This will be complete
research work in a proper way. In addition to this lack of communication skill created difficulty
to communicate to communicate with individuals so as to get proper information. This skill
could be developed by interacting with various clients from various countries and backgrounds
and will increase confidence in me while collecting the primary data. Moreover strength
identified is time management skills which helped my research skills to absolute inquiry

While going through this research there are several factors learned which includes time
