INTRODUCTIONResort management is a process in which an organisation manage all activities of hoteland provides various food, sport, lodging, entertainment and other services. The term resortdescribe hotel property which render entertainment, recreational activities and array of amenities(Keller, Parameswaran and Jacob, 2011). TUI is a multinational company which perform theiroperations throughout the world. The organisation has their own airlines, retail stores, travelagencies, hotels which provide these facilities to their customers and also an ample holiday fleetin Europe. Present report identifies that how function can be useful for hotel operations andstructure of resort offices will be effective for tour operator. Along with this, it focuses on qualitysystems and procedures influence conflict. Instead of these, it also identifies the incidents forEffective resort operations and which type of procedures will be implemented for dealing withvarious incidents. TASK 11.1 Various function of resort operationsEvery resort have to perform certain functions or operations so that they will be able toattain their goals. . With help of specific operations, the customers base can be created. The touroperator need to understand about different languages for proper communication because withhelp of languages, operator can deal with their customers for supplying their services. Thefunctions of resort operations involves various contract, legal laws and health and safetylegislations.There are various types of functions that have to be followed by tour operator andsome of these are as follows:Production and purchasing buying: In resort management, production and purchasingmeans working in multifaceted, dynamic segment, and highly competition. It alsoarranges certain spa, vacation facilities and a boutique formulation hotel. The operationdivision of TUI group hotel is to purchase the various facilities for effective functioningand provides these facilities to their all kind of customers. This hotel start theirfunctioning with the help of various tangible and intangible resources (Newsome, Mooreand Dowling, 2012). The tangible resources can be labour, machinery and row material.On the other hand, intangible resources are considered as good will of the group. 1
