INTRODUCTION
With the advancement of the operations, various global measures and destinations have
evolved to greater level that has played a very important and significant role in improving and
evolving a destination as a tourist hotspot. As the transportation measures have turned out to be
global, the tourism have increased and improved to a greater extent. For the present report, travel
and tourism consultation firm, Thomas Cook is been selected. The report will lay emphasis on
effective statistics to showcase the growth of tourism, their nature and trends on global level.
Also, the key tourism generating and receiving countries are analysed. Influence of emerging
market economies and nature of tourism is been taken in countries are analysed with assessment
to key tourism destination life cycle and a comparison related to growth strategies and growth
factors are analysed with the specific measures which are taken at different tourists destinations.
Also, the significance in affecting global tourism and their importance is compared. The
significance of threats, issues and challenges and their implication are analysed and proper
recommendations are provided.

Travel and tourism industry is one of the leading and most effective and suitable industry
in UK which has a high level of employment and growth potential. All these measures plays a
very deep and significant role in the carrying out of the operations which will help in proper
evaluation of service measures which will help in improving the effectiveness of travel and
tourism measures which are been carried out by the firm (Ghaderi, Saboori and Khoshkam,
2017).

At present, £120 billion of UK's GDP is contributed by travel and tourism industry. By
year 2022, travel and tourism will be the largest and fastest growing industry that will be having
a worth of about £250 billion. As per the estimates, about 9.6% jobs i.e. about 3.1 million
employment opportunities will be generated by the travel and tourism industry.

classifications help the individual to cater the needs and requirements of their customers or
travellers in an effective way. All these measures will lead to setting up of proper growth
measures. UK being one of the fastest growing economy, will see a significant rise in setting up
of operations which will help in suitable planning of services which will help in executing the
nature of tourism (Martin, 2015). In recent time, UK has seen a positive rise in Inbound tourism
which has played a significant role in rise of trends related to younger customers in travel and

UK or India is based on the effective planning of the key components that will help in improving

effective way.

 On the bases of demographic: Tour operators have to design tour packages by looking at
demographic characteristics of individuals. As need of students, professionals, business
persons, researcher, families are always different from each other. On the bases of age,
income, lifestyle travellers need to be targeted. This supports in increasing tourism
activities in the country.
