Golf Tournament Fund Raiser
Introduction
A golf tournament is normally a high-profile game that attracts attention to many who
appreciate the game ("Beer, Guys & Cigars at Golf Tournament", 2017). Using a golf
tournament as a way of raising fund requires one to be ready to come-up with a fundraising
committee to help in organizing a successful event. In addition, inviting a significant number of
sponsors is highly recommended ("Choose the Right Golf Event for Your Next Fundraiser",
2019). In order to raise the required amount of funds, the target amounts will be communicated
to the committee so that as they implement the plan and take measures to ensure that resources
are utilized effectively without compromising with the quality of the fundraiser event ("Make
Your Golf Fundraiser Uniquely Yours", 2020). The golf fundraiser event that I would plan will
be geared towards raising funds to support children, youths and adults with development Prior to
the event, the amounts required to be raised is determined, the number of attendees assessed and
the appropriate ticket price would be determined by adding up the cost of the event and expected
fundraising amounts and then dividing the total amounts with the expected number of attendees
("KW Habilitation Annual Golf Classic Tournament | DonationMatch", 2020).
However, I appreciate that having a successful event will require developing a work plan
that would act as a guideline on how different activities should be executed. The work-plan in
the next page assumes that that the fundraiser is organized 6 months before the event date.
