in formation of a good rapport with the client and client will willingly discuss the

allow the service provider to understand effectively what sources and treatments should be
provided as per the client’s requirements.
g. Personal space is defined as the surrounding space of an individual that is not to be
violated and some people may feel uncomfortable if anyone hinder their personal space or

increases chances of client using branded and quality products that increases their

confidential and cannot be shared with anyone other than client without the permission of
the client. It is against the rules to share the information of client personal data and
treatment information without the authorization from client himself.
g. Using appropriate communication techniques in a salon increases the trust and
understanding between the service provider and the client and increases the chances of
retail opportunities as the new products and services can be communicated well and bought
by the cleints if the rapport is formed with effective use of communication.

h. Client feedback and responding is very essential process and should be taken in
consideration as it will allow the institute to improve the services and areas where more
efforts are required, it also allows to identify the risks and loops where improvement and
strategic planning is required to achieve better and quality services.
i. To refer and assist client complaint in salon one should stay calm and listen carefully,
provide assurance her complaint will be processed, offer VIP appointment or refund in case,
be firm with new clients who complains unreasonably but avoid the blame culture, remain
positive and learn and work efficiently.

f. Before providing the treatment the person should prepare own self, client and the salon
environment as per the guidelines that says that the environment should be clean, calm
with soothing music lights and clean. Chair should be adjusted and client should be seated
comfortably, use clean and disposable towels and cotton for every client, use hygienic ways
to apply the products with use of gloves and in wash hands properly before using the
contact treatment every time.
h. Use techniques like client requirements, client satisfaction,client expectation and
aftercare to achieve the treatment objectives that are improved skin condition,relaxation,
client needs and suitability and realistic demands. The consultation technique helps us to
identifycorrect treatment objective to present the best treatment.
i. Detailed skin analysis helps us to have through knowledge of skin type, cellular and tissue
structure, it helps in choosing best products and treatments for the appropriate skin type
and using adequate amount of moisture and recommendations to provide better treatment
and therapy.
j. The type of products used, equipment and treatment recommendations are made on
basis of the factors identified in the detailed skin analysis that suits the skin type by not
being allergic to the skin or being too raw that does not cause any effect. The effects and

communication techniques. One should make sure to not violate the personal space of the
client making the rapport with the client and following all rules of professionalism. Different
methods of communication will suit the client needs and calm the client if nervous. The
main aim should be to achieve client expectations under the professional methods of
communication and treatment that will allow one to behave in most appropriate manner.
j. It is important to position the client and own self appropriately to be able to work
effectively. Client should be positioned in supine potion so as we can work on the area that
is visible to us properly with ample light source to illuminate. We should also find
appropriate posture to reduce any strain or any handling or musculoskeletal problems due
to wrong use of posture while working. During facial treatment client should be positioned
in supine position on a bed and a stool or proper posture is used to work on the facial
elements.
k.When positioning or providing facial care treatment it is important for us to use or select
best products that will suit the clients skin that will be analysed and sorted after detailed
skin analysis of the client’s skin. It allows us to know about the texture and cellular structure
of client’s skin and products and equipment to be used as per the requirement of the skin.
The drying products cannot be used on a dry and dull skin in same way equipment such as
different beauty tools should be used after analysing the structure of skin.
l. The treatment type can be adapted as per requirement by first analysing the type pf skin
before giving the treatment. By looking and touching at the skin we can prepare and modify
the treatment as per needs. The skin type can be rough, smooth, oily, dull and glossy as per
the usage of products and care at home a person takes on this basis the treatment options
can be adapted and modified diversely.
n. Satisfaction is important factor for any industry and even beauty care salon to flourish.
Customer satisfaction should be tracked properly and treatment should be provided to
