solutions will be identified that will help the patient to know whats is required and what all solutions
are there (Bockting and et. al., 2013). Then after, more information are gathered so that a support

As the referral as got accepted by the different authorities in IMHA, the prior step that is been
taken by them is to take the patient under the security and treatment section. Under the mental
health act the patient is to be assessed and the needs and requirements will be identified. It is also
very necessary action that I will take is that to identify and gather all related information which made
the condition of the person as he/she is now. The factors and the elements that had affected the
mental state of the person will be clearly determined (Devos, 2012). Then all the requirements of the
patient and the related people will be identified so that a proper service can be provided to the
patient to get cured as soon a possible. Then the specialist assessment is performed which is very
necessary to respond to the referrals.
Several actions are taken to the requested referral like the patient as well as the family members
are informed about the actions and steps that will be taken for them. The therapist will immediately
are contacted so that they can be able to meet the patient for which the referrals are offered and
requested. With this the services and treatment will be provided to them and they will try to make
cure the patient with all the efforts and hard work that is required. With the help of this the main
target to treat the patients will get accomplished and along with that the people who are having the
health related issues can get proper assistance and is able to develop the present state of their life

5.5 Explain how you identify dimensions of diversity
Diversity is the method or the practices that are adapted in the society where various people are
differentiated from each other in various ways by color, race, gender, religion and many more
aspects. Humans are mostly divided for the gender, race and ethnicity. Gender is of the very major
aspect that make differences between the people. Although the time has gone where male and
female were treated as a separate person, but still the mentality and perception of the people are the
same where they treat and make a huge difference between male and female.
Race is another aspect that can create differences between the several people in the society.
Similar to the gender race is also one of the aspect that is considered as a social and historical ways.
They actually does not exist but it is just the belief of the people of black and white. This affect
society very badly and influence the mental state of them as well. The people who are dark in their
complex will be treated bad and are not provided many services and facilities that they needs so it
become tough for them to survive in such circumstances (Ryan and et. al., 2010).
Ethnicity is another aspect upon which the people of the society are treating not equal or are
different from others. These are having different culture values and belief s which is very different are
so n this basis the people are treated as distinctive from others. This will affect them to attain the
society's benefits and advantages that lies in their part only.
