INTRODUCTIONSocial and Health care is a kind of service which are provided by Social and Health CareProviders. It comes under the head of “Human Services” in United Kingdom (UK). Abbots CareLtd. is a privately owned organization who work for those person who are facing learningdisability. It was established in year 1995. Since then, it is leading human service provider inUK. Today, It has 500 care takers. Report will highlight organizational structure andorganizational culture. It also tell about the impact of structure on culture in organization. It willdescribe about the changes that will improves the organization. TASK 1Structure Of The OrganizationORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE – Organizational structure means the framework inwhich an organization conduct its activities like task allocation, communication, reportingsystem, fulfilment of duties and responsibilities, managing work in line of authority etc.Organizational structure is basically depend upon the objectives of organization (Palmer andBiggart, 2017). Abbots Care Ltd. Follow Functional Top Down Organizational Structure. This structureis also known as Hierarchical Organization Structure. In this structure, whole work is dividedinto similar types of jobs and than according to the jobs, departments (like – AdministrationDepartment, Finance Department, Customer Service Department, Laboratory Department,Human Resource Department, Service Department, Medical Records Department, ManagementDepartment, Information Technology Department, Marketing Department) are made. Fordepartment management, specialized manager who experts in that field is hire. Under thismanager, Employer, Employees, Supervisors and Leaders are hire who help the manager toachieve departmental objectives. In this structure, 2 objectives are tried to be achieve –Organizational Structure and Departmental Structure. Here, communication flow chart will be upand down. Reporting system will also be in flow of up and down. Task allocation is done bydepartmental managers (Young and Ghoshal, 2016.).1
