Abstract
Age UK is an organisation that is providing support to the older people. It has been
analysed that there are large number of older people who need support and assistance of other in
order to live their life in better and healthier manner. Age UK organisation is focusing on making
later life of older people better by providing them support for meeting with different needs and
requirements. It has been identified that there are different health care approaches that could be
consider by individual in order to help needed person. Age UK is conducting different
campaigns and research with the motive of making difference to the most disadvantages older
people through effective campaigning and influencing, underpinned by policy work as well as
research.
INTRODUCTION
Older age people faced different issues and problems due to their age factor. There are many
older people who are along and do not have any one to support them. It has been determined that
older people have been medically and societal affected by the pandemic in a disproportionate
way. During the Covid 19 pandemic older age people needs to be taken care correctly and
effectively (Courjon and et.al., 2021). Age UK has been lobbying the government of UK on
various range of issues which includes getting PPE to care homes and social care providers,
financial support for the voluntary sector during the pandemic situation. This report includes
information about the different health and wellbeing practices performed by Age UK. This
includes significance of health care in older age people. Apart from this approach for providing
effective health care practice to old age people have been determined.
Presentation of data
Age UK is the leading charity of UK market area which is dedicated to helping older
people in order to make everyone make most of their later life. It has been determined that there
are number of issues and problems that occurs while increase in the age of people. The over 60s
