First recommendation:
Physical activities and exercises are of the most important action that every old
individual need to adopt in their regular lives. While most of the studies have linked them
with effective prevention of chronic disorders, it also has many specific benefits. Exercises
help in prevention of memory loss and thereby they reduce the chances of occurrence of
dementia. It also results in production of feel good hormones called as endorphins. It helps in
reducing chronic pain and help in increasing muscle mass from weight training that improves
metabolism capability (Kennedy-Malone et al., 2018). It also helps in improvement in the
quality of sleep helping older people to feel fresh the next morning. With old age, people tend
to lose their flexibility as well as balance and good posture. Exercise helps in developing
flexibility, balance, and good posture. It also helps older people to boost their immune system
as well. Practicing yoga also help people from relieving discomfort caused by disorders like
arthritis and fibromyalgia.
Older people might lose their confidence as they age regarding their mobility, balance
and maintaining of their posture. Therefore, counselling procedures would include methods
that would help in developing confidence among them helping them to believe on their own
abilities and motivate them entirely.
Second recommendation:
Every aging individuals need to have proper and healthy eating habits. Studies are of
the opinion that as individuals age, certain changes occur in their physiological systems that
slower their metabolism rate and causes change in their sense of smell and taste. In addition,
constipation is a common disorder found among old people (Sudgen et al., 2017). Therefore,
the diet should be full of fibre rich foods, vegetables, fruits, whole grains and lean protein
like meat. These foods will prevent constipation. They will also help to keep older people
